The XXS fit my 2.6 lb chihuahua perfectly. The strap is too long but I tied a couple of knots on it to keep it from flapping all over the place… plus, the dog was able to reach it and try to chew it, otherwise. I’m pleased with the quality. I hope he outgrows his chewing/biting, but if he doesn’t, at least I know to size up on this brand. Great buy!Why did you pick this product vs others?:The XXS size.

Works great and fits well on my dog and isn’t uncomfortable or rubbing. It’s easy to take on and off and it’s pretty strong she rubs it against concrete and hard surfaces and it hasn’t torn or anything. She can still open her mouth slightly to eat/drink some small stuff.

I give it a 4 at no fault of the seller except it would've been better with a velcro adjustment to go around my 4 lb Chi's snout circumference as a it is made. It fits well, but the bottom part hits her throat and the top part if pulled any tighter hits her eye balls. Other than that, stitched together well.

I have a 5lb apple head Chihuahua. This fit his head on the head clip but on the snout it was too big. It fits the snout length wise but width wise it was too big and covered his eyes too. So I wouldn't recommend for any dog smaller then say 8-10 pounds.

It’s a cute and practical muzzle but my 5 lbs Yorkie took it right off. He did not like it. It is the perfect fit.

We got the xxs for our deer headed chihuahua. Fit great! We got it so she would not bark in the airport and it worked! She could still eat and drink with it on.

My puppy of about 6 mos is a chewer and she chews everything. Destroyed 2 Wacom Graphics tablets, coutless stylus, many boxes of Kleenex, trash, garments, anything she can chew, she does. This keeps the peace. If it is on correctly it solves the problems until she get over this teething time. She has all sorts of chew toys etc., but enjoys trying to chew other things. If you look away for 2 min, its over... destruction! This has worked. She wears it nicely. Will chew it if given the chance and has not been able to remove it, but once I did not make it secure enough, she was able to get it down over her short muzzle and take a complete row of bites out of the muzzle. Follow directions, works nicely. I like the Khaki as it looks like her coloring. Here is hoping it won't be too much longer when we can eliminate using it. They get dirty so get many. They can eat and drink, kiss, lick, etc with it on. Made well. Straps waay too long! At least for her.

We have 5 chihuahuas. 2 get attitudes and fight with wash other. This keeps them from being able to bite in high stress situations for them.Also a 2nd benefit - it helps with cutting nails on 2 of our chihuahuas who are scared of nail cutting and nip at your hands while clipping nails.Not something we leave on long - just as needed as I’m sure it’s not comfortable for long term wear - but works perfectly for the short periods we need to use it.
