Works Fast on Different Kinds of Ants
Works fast and on a variety of ants indoorsand outdoors! This rainy season we found ourselves with large red ants in the house and lots of other kinds of ants outside. We bought these so we could tackle both at the same time. We really didnt expect the success we got but the red ants were totally gone in less than 48 hours and the outdoor ants are also gone!! The traps are small and go unnoticed. We ended up buying 4 more packs to stock up in case they come back.

Finally! An ant trap that really works!
I tried so many types of non-spray ant killers. None worked until Combat. After our WV drought last summer, I was inundated with those pesky itty-bitty pests getting into everything. Now, I see ants, I put out these baits. They're gone in 2 days and don't come back for a while - until another explorer finds the dog food bowl or butter dish. And the dispensers don't spill out on the counter or while you're opening the unit. Amazon's price was better than local stores, too.

easy to use, really work fast & well!
These work! I think it's the liquid bait the ants like. I put these out and within 2 days the ants were gone.Very easy to use. Supposed to be safe for pets, and my cat couldn't care less and didn't bother them.

Works Great But Doesn’t Last Long When You Have a Large Colony
These kill the ants but it takes a lot of them to kill them all. We feed our cats on the front porch so we keep an ant problem if we don’t consistently replace the used stations. They don’t last long during the summer and rainy seasons. What I like most about these is they are very easy to use. Just pop the tab off and set it in the ants or near them. They are extremely easy to clean too. I can’t say if it kills the colony or not because so many ants just keep coming after our cat food. I highly recommend them though. My animals don’t bother them and we don’t have children so I can put them anywhere.

Most of the bait stations are unusable, but the active ingredient works well for sugar ants
Three of the bait stations broke off in the wrong place, rendering them unusable. Please find a better way to activate these stations because I can only use one of them. Will have to find a different brand.Update: I’m revising my original review from one star to three stars. While three of them broke in the wrong place as mentioned above, the one that broke correctly worked really well. So I decided to move the one bait station around the house to take care of all the ant colonies. Bottom line, it works, but COMBAT: please fix your bait stations so they can all be used. For customers like me, maybe it would be best to buy Fipronil and use empty bait stations that you fill yourself.NOTE: These work well for sugar ants. They may not work for all types of ants.

Killed my ant problem
Had pretty bad ants and this entirely wiped them out. Not a lot more to say about it - very effective and easy to use.

It gets rid of them.
I was told not to use them inside by my bug guy. he comes once a month & we don't use chemicals & we live in high desert & we don't want roaches or any crawlers to attract scorpions. But the bait really attracts the ants. And it does eventually kill the queen which is what has to happen otherwise she'll just keep making more workers. It took 3 days to have the workers bring it to the queen. But I can see how I would not want to put it inside, it does work. I had a bird feeder up and the birds just kept dropping those seeds and that had big black ants that enjoyed them, too. I tried everything but couldn't get rid of them. I finally had to take my bird feeder down after all the ants were gone. It took a few days because the black ants had plenty of seeds. I also found a pocket if tiny amts g forming in the bottom of a sage bush. Put one there too..gone in a day.

Worked great for sugar ants.
I purchased this to see if it could get rid of some pesky sugar ants that invade my bathroom periodically when we get heavy rains for a weeks or so. I usually use sugar and boric acid dissolved in warm water which works but usually takes upward of two weeks. I've tried Terro baits which work for a short period to attract ants but then they sidestep the baits and never seem to kill the entire colony. After placing several of these along the ant trails, they attracted lots of ants within the first two days. After that, the ants would come and gather in small groups along the trails and just sit there. After about a week and a 1/2, I disturbed the groups and they moved but not in their usual way. I ended up squishing them and wiping the trials. After that, I saw a few ants walking but it dwindled down to none. All in all about 2 weeks. They haven't returned. I would say this product worked great.Pros:1. Works well.2. The container is easy to handle without getting poison on your hands.Cons:1. You have to break a tab off to expose the poison to the ants. If you don't press it just right, it won't break cleanly.2. The gel inside dries up in about two weeks (which was OK since the ants were almost dead by then) but if you need to have it longer you may have issues.3. You can't find it in stores so you have to order online.I would purchase gain.
