Simple, easy to use, clean
I was given the opportunity to test this gadget. My original set up was to leverage a small wine glass to help me hold the capsule so I can seal it with a recap. My old setup is fine, but not perfect (coffe ground on countertop and on the edge of the capsule which prevents a perfect seal). This new gadget from Capmesso helps keep my countertop clean from coffee grounds, holds the capsule in place while I seal it with a recap (also provides a clean seal). Overall the set up is good. The recap sticker does stick to the holder, I might need to practice a little more on it. Would I recommend this? Sure, especially if you don’t have stead hands to recap the capsule.

Works well, save a lot of money
Well, I must say, this CAPMESSO Reusable Vertuo Pod Refill Kit is quite the ingenious little contraption. As a coffee enthusiast with more experience than I care to admit, I find this gadget to be a real game-changer in my daily routine.I've been using this kit to refill my Vertuo pods with remarkable efficiency, and I must say, it's a smooth operation from start to finish. The Fill & Press Brush is particularly handy, making the whole process as neat and tidy as can be. It's a pleasure to use, really. Now, regarding compatibility, you needn't worry. This kit fits all Vertuo pods perfectly, and those aluminum foil lids create an impressively tight seal, keeping your coffee fresh for longer. It's not only saving me a considerable amount of money, but it's also allowing me to reduce my environmental impact. A win-win situation, if you ask me. Just the other day, I used it to create a custom blend of Colombian and Ethiopian beans - the result was simply divine.- **Comprehensive kit**: Everything you need in one package.- **Efficient sealing**: Saves precious time in the morning rush.- **Cost-effective**: Significantly reduces long-term coffee expenses.- **Environmentally friendly**: Reduces waste from single-use pods.

Great! Just one thing
This set is awesome. Works just as it should, easy, and quick to do. Keep in mind that you need to buy the Vertuo capsules FIRST, keep them, clean them out, etc. So yes, you initially need to fork over some money but you'll save A TON of money in the long run. I just purchased a set of 30 to last me a month before having to refill these. Since my machine is just for me and sometimes I am in the mood for a good ol' french press style, this amount is perfect. On to the ONE thing that kinda bugs me. Some people might not think this a big deal but I'll throw it out there. I own a Vertuo Plus model. To put in the new capsule for another delicious cup, you press the lid up and the machine very conveniently disposes the capsule automatically into the back bucket. Since using these lids, that convenient mechanism doesn't work. So I manually have to push the pod into the bucket. Takes two seconds and really no energy at all. Call me lazy or super extra, high maintenance, bougee... but the way I see it is that I put a lot of money into this machine as it is, so I want EVERY part of it to work the way it was designed! I think its because these foil lids are not as thick as the nespresso brand foil tops so the machine can't pull up the pod and dispose of it automatically. Anyway, just my two cents. Defintely keeping the machine and doing this method with this kit. The very MINOR inconvenience isn't enough for me to spend over HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS a year in the nespresso pods. GET THIS KIT!!

New User, Experiencing Leaks
The kit works, helping me seat the foil cap on the vertuo pod. To get it properly centered, align the foil to the back lip on the holder after putting your coffee in. It leaks a small amount of coffee into the side pod holder each time. I believe some coffee is coming out the top, not the sides, of the lid. I'm hoping experimentation will eliminate this, but not so far after several attempts. The coffee it brews is fine. My machine is the Vertuo Pop.I'm considering adding another layer of foil & trying different grinds of coffee. I used a blade grinder to grind grounds I had, and made it look about identical to the fine grind coffee that comes in the vertuo pods originally. Perhaps my grind needs perfecting, or I need to buy a finer grind. (I was attempting to use & grind coffee I already had!) Hopefully, I can increase the number of stars for the product when I figure it out. Final comment - the kit is good, but the lids are a little expensive at $.10 each.Update:I've been experimenting with the coffee grind, the amount of coffee in the pod, & tamping it down in the pod. if you put less coffee in the pod, it won't spill into the back reservoir. But, it makes lousy coffee with little crema. if you put a lot of coffee in the pod, it will make lots of crema, but is more likely to spill coffee into the reservoir. I haven't perfected it yet, but I'm fairly sure, if I get the balance right, this will work better than it has so far. I just learned the scoop has a tamper on the end for a reason, so now I'm using it to compact coffee in the pod. A trick I nobody else mentions, is there is a lip on the back of the pod-seating device that helps you precisely place the foil. Line the foil up against that, & it centers the lid nicely. if I get the exact balance of coffee grind and amount figured out, I'll let you know!
