These are comfortable. But having purchased the medium size initially, after a few washings, they did shrink. I bought them again only a size up. Otherwise no complaints.

I was looking for something very breathable and cool, for use in mild exercise and for sleeping in. I am 6'1, weigh 185 and ordered a Large. The straps on these are a little snug but still comfortable, and the pouch is very comfortable with just the right amount of stretch (I suspect the XL would have been too loose). I only have one minor complaint, and I am surprised no one else has mentioned it. I noticed something felt odd where the leg straps attach to the pouch. There was a twist in one strap no matter how I adjusted it. I compared the construction to an old athletic jockstrap I have. On both, the two leg straps are a single continuous strap which is folded in half where it attaches to the pouch. On the old jock the straps are folded at an angle of about 60 degrees at the point of attachment, so while you wear it the left leg strap moves to the left and the right strap moves to the right and both conform smoothly to your body. On this Summer Code strap, the strap is folded exactly in half so the two halves lie flat on each other. This would be fine on a thong, which has a single strap that goes under your butt, but with two straps neither can lie flat without kinking the other. I verified this by unstitching the strap of the summer code jocks and restitching them to the pouch like the old jocks are, and this completely solved the kinking. It is basically a design flaw. The odd thing is, it doesn't take any extra time during manufacture to do this properly. I went to this much detail in the hope that the manufacturer will take note and correct the problem in the future - although I think it unlikely they will pay any attention.

As an active runner, I'm looking for a supportive fit to wear under running tights and shorts. For years I stuck with the Papi brand, after trying a few different brands. These are a better fit, give better support, and remain comfortable through the whole range of motion in my workouts. The pouch area is a performance fabric and remains breathable. They can handle hours of wear and still keep you moving. I'm a convert and I don't see myself going for any other brand. Best jockstrap on the market.

it's super comfy and breathing but the seam on the front is kind of a turn off and just makes the appearance look bad.

This product is comfortable. It does the job that you buy it for and the price is right.

I'm an older guy and I'm finally getting away from whatever is on the retailer's shelf. I had no idea items such as these existed. I ordered the multi-color 4 pack and was very pleased by the fit and soft texture of the material. Pouch size and width of the straps and waistband are spot-on. Wearing them makes me feel good. I'm going to order a 2nd 4 pack!
