Solid lens adapter, well built!
This mount adapter for Canon EF/EF-S lenses is very well built and solid! I unfortunately do not have my RF mount mirrorless camera yet, I am still using my EF mount DSLR and saving up for the R-series camera. In the meantime I ordered this adapter to be ready to use my existing EF and EF-S lenses with my next camera. Therefore my review is based only upon the lenses fit on this adapter until I get a new camera evenutally. The mount comes in a nice box with lots of foam padding and a small hex wrench. The mount itself is very solidly built, and comes with a very nice tripod mount base which can be removed if you wanted. The hex wrench can be used to remove, install, and tighten the two screws that attach the tripod mount to the adapter. As to the function with my lenses, the adapter has the standard red and white dots to mark lens orientation and these line up perfectly with both my EF (red round dot) and EF-S (white square dot) lenses. Where the lens ends up is the the correct orientation to make contact with the electrical pins. The lenses twist on very firmly and seat very solid once latched in, there is absolutely no play in the connection. The latch gives a very clear click when the lens is fully installed, and the release button/slider to remove the lens works great. This will be an excellent adapter to get me going with my new camera one day hopefully soon! I would recommend this adapter over the OEM one, save yourself a bunch of money and use it towards buying a new lens or accessories for your camera!

Good Value Compared to OEM Version
This lens adapter is a good alternative to the one Canon sells, so if you are in the market for an adapter for EF to RF, consider this. The contacts work fine, and all the information from the lens make it to the file as meta data. This is important for many reasons, but lens profiles and correction are the reasons I cared so much about the information being sent to the file. I did not notice any issues with the mount or the pictures I. Also, I liked having the tripod mount on the adapter as a place to hold the lens to stay steady as I take the picture. You can use the provide tool to remove the tripod mount. This is a unique touch that even the OEM adapters don't have.

Comparable to the Canon EF to RF adaptors at an attractive price point
I added a second Canon mirrorless body to my kit for wildlife photography and bought this as a second EF to RF adaptor. I use a couple of older EF lenses. This SNIPIZ EF-EOS R Lens Adapter is of comparable quality, workmanship and function to my existing Canon EF to RF adaptor (I have the one with the control ring). I've only been using it a short time but I've found all of the functions of the lens work as required and I haven't noticed any negative impacts on my Canon camera's autofocusing system. Well made and recommended.

OK value for the price. No caps, build quality is OK, some play in the mount.
This adapter is a no-frills EF or EF-S to RF. It's 146 grams with the tripod mount attached, so you can shed some weight by removing that; I wouldn't trust my body or a lens to that mount. Nice weather sealing o-ring, but that makes it more fragile; it should come with caps or a case.. R6 automatically went into 1.6 crop mode when an EF-S lens was attached. EF lenses tested OK: 70-200 2.8L IS II, 50 1.8 II, 40 2.8, all focused prefect and worked as expected. There was noticeable play where the mount attached to the camera, when my 70-200 was mounted. Might still spring for the Canon adapter for the big, expensive glass that I can't afford to drop. It does make a crunchy sound when the pins drag across the lens electronics pads; and it is also a bit tight on the release lever and mounting pressure.

Works well with my legacy lenses, though tighter than ideal fit
When I got my Canon EOS R10, I also got this adapter to use with my older Canon lenses (an 18-55mm EF-S zoom, and a 70-210mm EF zoom). Results are very good; the attached cat photo was shot with the 18-55, and the flower with the 70-210.I'm encountering more resistance than I would like while attaching and detaching the adapter on both ends (lens and body) - neither side has the smoothness I get between the body and the kit RF lens. Once everything is connected, though, it looks like I'm getting the same quality images these lenses gave me with my old camera.
