Satisfied with the straps. They lock securely and even provide a way to secure the loose strap end when attached.

Built better than the ones they replaced. Padding under buckles was plenty big to keep from scratching boat finish. They also hold their adjusted position well (old ones didn't do that very well either). I recommend!

Purchased to tie down boat to trailer. Lighter duty than expected.

I recently purchased a golf scooter (100 pounds) and was using ratchet straps to tie it down to the trailer I have. The bike is small enough that the ratchet straps are almost too long. Getting them tight, while doable, is a real pain. These things work so much easier. You basically hook each end, pull the strap tight, hit the clasp and you're done. There's a nice thick velcro strap that not only holds the excess strap, but also adds additional support to the clasp making sure it doesn't pop open.I will still use the ratchet straps for long trips (I feel like there's a little less chance of them loosening over a long trip), but for local travel, these things are awesome. They strap tight and are easy as hell to use. Highly recommend.

The webbing is very thin, half as thick as my previous set. No way on earth that these could be rated for the advertised 1,200lb Break Strength. It would be lucky to hold 200-300lbs at best. This is such poor quality that I cannot recommend these for anything.

Great straps for the cost

Works but pain in butt to adjust, lock and release. Just get the ratchet style and save the heartache... old school is not the way to go. Replaced them but threw away bag or would have returned them. 3 stars because they do work if you fight it long enough.
