The Houselife Bench Dog Clamps are a real game changer when doing project work. They securely hold the item on the bench to facilitate sanding, drilling, or cutting. The clamps mount to any ¾” hole in the bench, and while secure enough just pinned into the hole, they can be secured to the bottom of the bench with the supplied knobs. There are two quick release clamps that can be adjusted to reach up to 5” from the mounting hole. There are also two stationary blocks that can be used opposite the clamps, or along the project to hold the work in place. Either way, the project can be strongly secured. The pads that rest against the project are ½” tall, which allows most projects to be sanded without having to worry about sanding the clamps. These clamps are a welcome addition to any project bench.

The Bench Dog Clamps worked very well. I used them to build some frames for sound deadening. They fit my construction table almost perfectly, which made my job much easier. Very little adjusting.

I have a Pony Portable Folding Work Table with bench dogs. The provided screw down handles (from beneath) that are supposed to provide a tight fit are too short for the depth of the dog hole. I will need to find longer bolts and probably washers to properly secure the clamps.

As a beekeeper, buying hive equipment brand new can be very expensive. Building woodenware helps me reduce the cost. These clamps are great for holding the sides together while gluing and fastening the boards. They are grippy and light so it's easy to move the project around while I'm working.

I cut a piece of 3/4” plywood into a work top to use with Shaper Workstation and these clamps are a perfect companion. The knobs to tighten underneath our nice to have but not always necessary. I will use these a lot instead of double sided tape to hold my workpiece.

These clamps work fine for my purposes--holding wood secure while I'm making cuts with my circular saw.The threaded shaft on the securing knobs are too short to use on my Works tables, but that was clear in the product listing, and they work fine for me without securing. Your mileage may vary.I like the quick clamping feature a lot--makes setup much easier.

I was very disappointed when I tried these clamps. They require access below the dog holes to clamp them tight. When clamped tight, the clamps are quite weak. They held my oak work piece snug, but not snug enough. There was a little movement when sanding the small piece, but any movement when woodworking is too much. The locking lever does not do a good enough job locking the clamp to the bar. The small clamps do not have much capacity either. When I lock the workpiece in place, the clamps tend to rise above the bench if the knobs below are not tight. The tightening knobs are a pain, and make use of these clamps time consuming. I don't have any use for these clamps.

I was impressed for the price when compared against much more expensive clamps I own just how well these work. Simple to set and use, the large handle make it quick and easy to clamp down your project. I recommend this product as a great addition to your hobby or wood working tool set.
