I live in a town that the electric is unpredictable. I hooked this up to run my at&t moden so that I will have internet. I also have security cameras. I will tell you that this battery back up lasted 3 and 1/2 hours. With no interruption in service.

Pros: portable. It's better than the bulky 110V UPS convertor. You could substitute all the modem and router's chargers with just one.Cons: battery life is not that great. When I first bought it, it used to last 7+ hours. After few months of light use, now it lasts about 4+ hours. I wish that the battery quality was better.The product is great, but the batteries are not. I hope that the company change the design to make batteries replaceable.Edit: great customer service. I have an ASUS RT-AC68U router and a standard IPS-issued internet modem hooked up to this UPS so that I do not lose internet connection during the long power outages in Congo. The battery life of this UPS is impressive: it was still supplying power to the router and modem during a 5 hour-long power outage. I believe it could last 6 or even 7 hours. And this is in a very humid country, which is bad for battery life. I am very impressed with the battery life and reliability.I once paid more than $200 for a huge bulky UPS, yet its battery span was not as long as this Shanqiu Mini UPS. I am very impressed. I will definitely buy this mini UPS again. Highly recommended. It's light and easily portable. It comes with all kinds of adaptors so that different power cables will fit.

I use this as a backup to my internet router. When power goes out, and it does offer here, my internet is still up as long as the router is powered. It’s kind of a big deal because I don’t get cell phone reception where I live. I purchased this back up and plugged it in. Now when power goes out I still have phone service. It works great.

We bought this battery backup system to keep our modem and router up and running during electrical brown outs. We were often left with no ability to communicate at all since we don't have good cell signal here. Now we will be able to continue to communicate as always. Not only that, since my wife and I both work from home we will be able to continue to work uninterupted rather that be thrown offline with the smallest flicker in our electricity.This unit has a 3.5 amp and 2 amp USB ports, among others. Our modem runs on 12 volt and 3.5 amp and the router runs on 12 volt and 1 amp. I read that you want to have the amp rating or MORE (but not less) so those two ports were perfect for our setup.We installed this unit a couple of weeks ago and so far we haven't had another power outage. I have tested it by unplugging the unit and it continued to provide power without problem.
