The Day a Planner Conquered My Chaotic World: A Life-Transforming Tale
I'm the kind of person who couldn't keep a planner for more than two days without losing it, or worse, using it as a coaster. I've been known to draw portraits of my dog on most "To-Do" lists rather than actually use the list... until my friend got me one of these planners late last year. The planner promised to make me "actually stick to" it and, to my utter astonishment, I did. It might as well have whispered sweet nothings about anti-procrastination into my ears each morning. Oh, you want proof? This is my second one already. The pages are full of easy-to-use planning frameworks that don't just aim to boost productivity and reduce workload anxiety; they bring it into existence. It's like having a productivity genie. I rubbed the cover, made a wish and poof! I was organised. The guide and tips by Grace act as road signs, telling you exactly where to start. It was like having a personal life coach, only without the hourly rate and awkward video calls. This planner not only taught me to plan ahead and map out my goals, but it also showed me how to break my daunting to-do lists into manageable portions: "quick ticks", "tasks", "projects", and "non-negotiables".I've achieved things that before were just figments of a far-off, overly ambitious dream - all while still finding time to engage in frivolous debates about the latest reality TV show with friends. Something I never thought was actually possible. On top of all of this, the planner is beautiful, high-quality and sustainable. The premium quality paper doesn't just feel luxurious, it’s sturdy enough to handle my aggressive note-taking habits. So, in short, this planner has become my life's co-pilot. If you're like me, a planner-skeptic, give it a shot.

Moved from spreadsheets to paper - I’m computer failure safe.
Right. So first thing to understand is that your girl is a planning QUEEN. I have planned my life to the hour for a very very long time and have the notebooks from 2014 to prove it. In the last year I had moved to spreadsheets because of all my created categories and niche requirements which quite frankly a diary/Filofax or plain notebook just. Did. Not. Cut. My spreadsheets are a thing of beauty, and I will happily show any friend, foe, or old lady on the bus. They have helped me navigate finishing a degree whilst being the creative director of a gallery in central London plus starting my own business and I’ve (rarely) forgotten to do a load of laundry. I DID NOT THINK IT POSSIBLE for anything to come close. And then I met this gorgeous darling of a planner. The planner of dreams. The planner that now gives me GREAT confidence and security that should my laptop ever die, should technology fail me, I will stay on top of my life forever amen. So. I use both. Stay with me. The planner is a day to day, hour by hour, meditative tool if you will. I transfer things from the planner to the spreadsheet and the spreadsheet to the planner as and when I need. As a girl who loves a cute little bag which fits two books… I’m delighted to say the planner now lives in my cute little bag of the day with the book of the day and I don’t have to worry about an ugly rucksack should I need my laptop at any second. I now have my planner. My baby planner. My sleek, sexy planner. My planner is ready for me at a moments notice. Ideas need jotted? Tasks need ticked? Projects need timelined? No task too big or small for this mighty beast (planner, we are talking about the planner). Thanks Grace, a girl after my own heart. Brunch is on me.
