GHome SmartWiFi Thermometer Hygrometer, Indoor Temperature Humidity Sensor Electronic Ink Display & IR Control, App Notification Alert, Free Data Storage Export

I put this in our basement to monitor the temp and humidity. I like that it works with the Smart Life app that I also use to control a couple of BN-Link wifi smart plugs that the dehumidifiers are plugged into. So I can remotely turn the dehumidifiers on or off as needed.

The product description, the pic on the box, and the instruction manual indicates that an IR remote control is included in the package. It isn't. The temp display unit contains no battery and must be plugged into power to function. It comes with a 3 foot long USB-A power cable but you must supply your own 5V power supply (one from an old cell phone works just fine). The wifi thermometer is easy to setup and had no trouble connecting to my network. Since the device has no battery backup I simulated a power outage by unplugging it from the wall for 5 minutes. When I plugged it back in it rebooted and re-connected itself to the wifi network. Two days after I ordered it it went on sale for $4 off the price I paid. Figures...

Works well and the USB connection eliminates the need for batteries. The accuracy is good but have niticed the temp of the unit differs slightly from what is reported in the app. Easily connects to Wifi and the reliability of the connection is good. Overall would recommend

I had an AC unit that started leaking in my house right before leaving on extended trip. It was fixed but I needed a way to monitor home temp and humidity while I was gone to make sure the AC was running. I had valve installed to stop AC if drain backed up again, but no way to monitor if the AC was kicked off. This gives me peace of mind.

This device works fine but if I am not on the same WiFi network, I cannot see it (I am able only to see the last reading since I was last connected to network). Bottom-line, it doesn't help me monitor the temp inside the RV when I am away because I have no way of knowing what the real temp is. Unless I am missing something, this was a waste of money for me.

I like the simplicity of this WiFi thermometer. It is accurate enough for my needs - monitoring my RV temp for my dogs. The setup was easy.What could be better:- power cord entrance should be on bottom or side… not sticking straight out of the back. Now I cannot mount it on a wall. It has a little kickstand on the back, but it is so lightweight that the cords just pulls it to the side sometimes. I’ll find a way to mount it, but it would have been easier. Not a total deal killer… just…- it needs a backlit display since it is not running off of battery.I just feel that this does not offer a lot for the money when compared to my similarly priced WiFi camera that has so many features…. Except for telling me the temperature in the room.However, all the other WiFi thermometers are similarly priced, so I can’t really say that it is overpriced. C’est la vie

For a simple gadget this lets me check the inside temp while I am not home. Note: there is a button on the back that changes the reading from F to C . This is not in the directions. Just push the button once and it will change.

I like the IR features on this unit, and if that is your main reason for buying it, that part works great! I was able to get it to turn an air conditioner off and on in a small barn via IR apartment using the SmartHome app.However, after integrating it with Alexa, I cannot ask Alexa to give me the temperature from the unit, and in the Alexa app I only see the humidity, NOT the temperature! I do see both values in the SmartHome app, but it doesn't pass the temperature to Alexa, only the humidity, which is a BIG problem for my application since it makes it impossible to use the temperature in an Alexa routine.The temperature and humidity seem to be reasonably accurate on the display - especially the temperature. You can easily change the temperature from C (the default) to F by simply short-pressing the reset button on the back (under the stand). But... it goes back to C if you remove power for any reason, and I was not able to find a way to make it default to F across power loss.

pour l'installer il faut etre sur un reseau wifi 2.4ghz uniquement mais c'est pour tout les objets connectés smartlife ou tuya. se thermometre permet de declencher une alarme sur son tel avec smartlife mais en plus il peut piloter des appareils via infrarouge comme une clim toshiba d'il y a 10 ans par exemple. Dans une salle serveur , si on a une coupure d'electricité la clim ne se relancait pas et ce petit appareil détecte la température seuil à 27 et elle démarre la clim. C'est vraiment une solution à moindre cout et difficile à trouver dans le commerce sans dépenser qqs centaines/milliers d'euro. En plus vous pouvez piloter votre clim à distance (hors site). une bonne liste d'appareil est gérer. cela reste quand même une appli chinoise 'smartlife'.

Aunque un poco pequeño, hay que acercarse mucho para ver los numeros, se empareja fácilmente con Home Assistant via la nube Tuya (Smart Life)

Im Gegensatz zu den meisten Produkten von govee lässt sich das Thermometer mit Drittanbieterapps verbinden.Das Gerät an sich ist wertig und liefert zuverlässige Werte. Ich nutze es in einem Gewächshaus, um Temperatur und Feuchtigkeit zu überwachen. Dass es per USB versorgt wird, hilft: an dem Kabel kann man das Gerät gut aufhängen.Sehr zufrieden!

Ho cercato a lungo un termometro e igrometro che avesse dei valori affidabili confrontato con più dispositivi e Con uno scarto ed un errore davvero bassi. Il dispositivo funziona bene sia con l'app tuya che Smart life anche se nel mio caso non avevo bisogno di integrazioni Con Alexa oppure con routine di accensione e spegnimento Per me l'importante era una lettura fedele e valida dei due parametri e poi avrei scelto io o meno se avviare il condizionatore. Allo stesso tempo segnalo che a mio avviso il display è molto leggibile nonostante non sia retroilluminato. Carino il fatto che la data e l'ora siano sempre sincronizzate con internet. Assolutamente da riprogrammare l'interfaccia dell'app in quanto ad esempio per cambiare la temperatura oppure per cambiare la modalità va premuto più volte lo stesso pulsante e sembra quasi che il condizionatore impazzisca dietro a tutti questi continui cambiamenti sarebbe stato più utile come avviene nei condizionatori di ultima generazione impostare tutti i comandi quindi dare all'utente 1-2 secondi di attesa ed inviare un unico comando al condizionatore ma tolto questo limite nel mio caso non così invalidante Per me resta un ottimo prodotto ad un prezzo più che accessibile rispetto ai competitor come ad esempio broadlink.
