Excellent for the Price
Purchased using the special offer voucher. Excellent for the Price. However comparing it to the previous version of the Flagpower 5.0Ah I purchased over a year ago without the indicator the new battery doesn't last as long on full charge (even after a year of use on the previous version) which I find strange as I would have hoped it would be similar. Fits in all the Makita tools I have perfectly. The spring on the button isn't as strong as the previous version but it causes no problems when on the tool. I would buy again. I class myself as a heavy user of the batteries used almost daily. The Previous version I would rate as 5 stars this version 4.

Don't waste your money
Bought this in Jul and has worked well over the last couple of months although only light use. It has been charged no more than 6 times and is now dead and refusing to charge (tried on 3 different chargers). Trying to contact the seller but have little faith in obtaining a refund or replacement. As a small company I budget every month for tools but will not be buying this brand again, as things stand. False economy - buy the real thing.

Great value alternative to genuine Makita. Durability is unknown , but , have 2 other flag power Makita batteries that are still going strong after 2 years.
