I'm giving this a five star as a first impressions, I love spinning classes been doing them for well over four years now but sometimes I just cant be bothered going out into a cold night to get to my gym..its not the best of bikes but you have to remember that the ones at the gym cost well over £1000 and this cost £100,, on using it for 5 minutes I would have preferred that the handle bars were slightly longer,I found it very easy to stand to simulate hill climbs, also the tension gear very easy to use, the pedals arent the best, kept thinking omg I hope they dont break but I suppose if they do it probably won't be on the first days,, the bikes quite stable when I pedal and the fly wheel is quiet,, im 1, 69 in height and my seat is at its highest, so any taller then its not recommended for you, so in a nutshell yes im glad I bought this bike, if it breaks then I will upgrade to a better one, but hopefully it will last past a year at least..tensions are brilliant it can go from a smooth easy to a solid unable to pedal .for those who want it as a regular sit down exercise bike, looks good, doesnt take up much room,, and best of all easy to put together, and a good price, , I will update this review if things start falling off it (or not) ok im away to find some good spinning classes on youtube...update...still got my bike. Use it everyday and absolutely nothing has fallen off going strong strong strong..new update..its December 2017/and my bike is working perfectly well still..I batter the soul out of it everyday for at least 45 minutes and absolutely nothing has broken..going very very strong..yaaay...so this for me was a fantastic buy..update..my right pedal in fact the arm to it has bent out of shape..devastated..but amazon are soooo good that they are sending me a replacement..yes I would gladly take another one of these bikes..love love love it still..maybe even more than I love my husband!!!!!

I cycle from home at lot - on average for 3 hours over a day - I have myriad arthritic conditions and find this helps ease the pain and keep me mobile - I am in my 40's and not ready to retire to a chair for decades!!! I usually buy a basic &50 bike which wears out after about 6-8 months, so am hoping this will last at least 18 months, otherwise my garden will start to look like a memorial to old bikes. So easy to build, one of the easiest (apart from the fiddly saddle nuts, but that's the same for every bike); took me only 30 minutes - but over 4 years I have had lots of practice. Very comfy, although I do use a gel saddle (via Amazon) as I am slight. Very sturdy, and would take a taller person than many. Only slightly downside is that it's a little noisy and I have to turn the TV, but possibly no more than the larger bikes you use at a gym. So glad I decided to buy. Definitely would recommend and will buy again, and may even try another colour. Amazing bike for the money - this is my first week, so I will update

This item arrived damaged. No fault of We R Sports but Amazon so I was told. It was suggested I tried to mend the machine myself - joke, I am no mechanic. Fortunately next door neighbour with piece of wood returned the offending part to the right shape. This extended setting up time from probably 45 miins to an hour and a half. The construction instructions are poor and badly written. The method of use is next to useless. Still cannot get the display to show miles per hour and from a Health and Safety point of view there is no guidance as to how to use the machine to obtain best weight loss or improve figure. It does not have ( nor did we expect) a heart monitor not being an electric bike.Once you get past all that, The Sports C100 is a robust and satisfactorily solid machine. I am 5'10" and with seat on maximum it is just at a correct working height. Hint to those 6' and above - stick to the gym. We are getting the benefits from it that we hoped which was primarily weight loss and are feeling a lot healthier since using it but still left wondering if we are using it to its maximum potential.

I carefully researched this item by looking at very many different sellers and looking at the comments of previous purchasers - which I found extremely helpful on the whole. This is an excellent piece of kit. Very reasonably priced (for me it was £99 + free postage, bit I would have paid more now that I have the bike - because of its solid frame work, compared to some machines the price is too good to be true) and delivered spot on time. It's really easy to put together (it took about 40mins) - very good (clear) instructions -although I had to laugh at some of the mis-interpreted words - sorry 'We R Sports!' It's a solid machine and of a quality production.I'm using this machine to keep fit and keep any weight off - I am a keen cardio vascular exerciser. So far the machine performs as well as described by other purchasers - if it wears out or for some reason 'gives up the ghost' which I must admit it does not show any signs of doing so, I'll re-write this feedback.It's coming up to a year now and this bike is still going strong! It's still a great piece of kit. However, I recognise it may not be the right piece of kit for everyone ( especially dedicated cyclists).What does concern me though is that when We R Sports responded to my concerns last year they were great, but I am really saddened that there has been a lot of negative comments made about this product and the service received by other buyers. What is going wrong I wonder?
