I am THRILLED to finally have a light on my Favorite Vacuum! I was skeptical about this item and adding it onto my vacuum but it is truly AMAZING and surpasses any expectations. The package comes with the Attachment light, UBS/USB-C charger, and multiple strips on Velcro (high quality and very strong). The light charges fast, lasts long, is the perfect size and is very easy to use. The light has three light settings as well with light, medium light and brightest lighting. (Pictures uploaded). I Lige this purchase and am thrilled that I can easily take it off and put it on. If you have not vacuumed with a light I have to tell you that it is a game changer! It’s nice to actually see what you vacuum and helps to ensure areas or debris aren’t missed! (Especially if you plan on moping right after vacuuming). PERFECT item for vacuuming pet hair! Overall, without a doubt I give this 5 STAR and highly recommend!

This gadget is amazing! I don't often write reviews, but this made my vacuuming so much more thorough than it ever has been (as evidenced by how long I spent cleaning!). The light works very well, lasts as long as predicted (on highest setting), and recharges as fast as predicted, too. I learned about this from Wirecutter, and I'm so glad I bought it.I especially wanted to write this review because I have two vacuum heads. One (for carpet) has the tall sides like what is recommended for attaching the light. The other (for non-carpeted floors) is considerably flatter, with no real "sides" to it. We figured out that we could get just as good performance attaching the light to the top of the flatter vacuum head. The light comes with extra adhesive velcro strips, including one scratchy side (the other 5 are the soft side). I added the scratchy side to the bottom of the light, and attached the soft-side velcro to the top of my vacuum head. See the pictures for positioning. It is easy to find the best light position in a darkened room.I'm just bummed that this went on sale for 30% off what I paid, less than 2 weeks after I got it!

Original review: 3 stars - Good light to see hidden dog hair and dust on dark or light surfaces. Sticks with some Velcro pads that comes in the box which is helpful and nice it came with the light. I thought I had to buy my own. It’s bulky so It is a little annoying on my Dyson when getting small corners. But not to bad of an inconvenience since the light is removable. It has a good battery life. You will need your own USB-C cable though. But My only real gripe is the price gouging this vendor makes for this silly Flashlight. It was up to $38 at one point! Seriously??!! I waited until the price went back to its original price which was like 20 bucks or something. EDIT AS OF 2/7/25: the vendor contacted me directly to provide some justification and reasoning for the price fluctuation of this item. And they refunded me the amount I paid. They promised to not let that happen again. They provided excellent customer service with me. I would use this vendor again. Like stated before the item is good.

I tested out the new Dyson stick vacuum with the green light and didn’t love how it performed on rugs but loved the light feature. So, I decided to stick with my older model and attach this green light to it. It works well! I docked one point because of the bulkiness.Cons:I did have to charge the light after a couple of days, but I vacuum more than the average person so that’s to be expected.The light sits on the side of the vacuum head so it does add bulk and prevents the ability to run that side of the vacuum along walls or furniture (it protrudes preventing it from running flush). Oh well, just hit it in reverse direction or head-on; small sacrifice to make.I have to detach the light to recharge it- it has Velcro so it’s not a big deal.Pros:Rechargeable!I can see EVERYTHING with the green light. Exactly what I was wanting!Price is on point!

I almost wish I had not bought this item (ignorance is not bliss in this case). I was taken aback at the amount of dirt and dog hair that I didn’t see, even after vacuuming. My dog has perfected the art of shedding, and this simple light enables me to see it much more easily, much better than the light on the vacuum cleaner. I just ordered several more to put on my stick vacuum and give to family members. No batteries to change since it is rechargeable.

I bought a Dyson V12 with the green light and absolutely loved it, but I needed a second vacuum for the bedroom area. Since the V12 is still pretty pricey, I decided to stick with my old Dyson V8 and just add this light—and wow, it’s a total game changer!Honestly, this light works even better than the one on my V12. It makes such a huge difference in seeing dust and debris. The only small downside is that it sticks out a bit on the side, so you have to be careful not to bump into things. Also, it looks like this is meant for a left siid mount, but I couldn’t mount it on the left side of my V8 because it looked like it might block a vent on the roller, so I put it on the right and angled it slightly downward.I love that it has three brightness settings—I keep it on medium because the highest is almost too bright. I can’t speak to battery life yet since I just got it, but honestly, even if I have to charge it frequently, I wouldn’t care because it works so well.If you’re on the fence, just go for it! You won’t regret it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have been looking for a light for my new vacuum that didn’t have a built in light. I love to see what I am vacuuming and what I have missed. I have tried a few other options but this light is a game changer for me. The different settings of brightness, the compact size that holds on to the side of the vacuum head and downs fall off like others. Great product if you are looking for a vacuum light
