I use this attachment on my dogs' nails and it works very well.The placement of the groove allows me to get a better angle on the nail.

Like that it is beveled not flat. It helps in shaping the dog toenail easier than a flat surface. I probably should have opted for the one beveled version versus 2 as when using the lower bevel the top gets in the way.

This is the best product I have found for grinding our Pugs nails without them stressing and freaking out. I was utterly surprised how fast and efficient this tip worked. Will definitely buy more.

I have a very large pit bull mix that is a terrified of having her nails trimmed after a bad experience with a groomer. If she saw anything that looked like clippers she would hide. I use this diamond trimmer in conjunction with the Dremel Nail trimmer. I use the diamond trimmer to help take off sharp edges and round over the end of the dog's nail. I works well but you have to use on medium speed to prevent the nail from heating.

This bit is not coarse enough. It takes a lot of force or time to file down my dogs' nails. This causes a lot of heat due to friction and is uncomfortable for the pups. The shape is great compared to a cylinder bit and fits a standard Dremel chuck. If the cutting surface was more effective, this could be a great tool.

my dog hates her claws being done, but it is a regular thing every month or so. She has gotten used to it a little better now.having good tools is the key to any successful job.
