Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very nice package. Easy and quick to learn and operate. Worked extremely well to level my fencing project. Yes, in the sun is hard to see, but with no option was able to reset to a place it was more visable. Great decision for the price and first time user. Nice tool case keeps everything together and safe when not in use. Have hanging ready to go with both batteries charged easily.

This is a great piece of equipment. Easy to setup, easy to level, and works great. Its a great price for someone needing a leveling device that is used once in a while. Happy with this purchase

Decent quality for the price. But the stand does not go very tall! So you have to find things to stack it on to get to higher locations on the wall... which is annoyingBut works great for other things

Good functionality for price. Remote works well. Laser line visible in daylight up to 15 foot, from there it took more effort to identify. Buttons easy to use. Accurate readings and warning sound loud. Convenient case to store.

The media could not be loaded. (I wanted to post the original photo of no paint on the wall with just the leveler, but only one photo/video is allowed)The ONLY downside of this for me was that it was not tall enough. If there’s a way to get it to extend to 10 foot, hands down would be the best product.As for brightness, I painted a linework mural in a sunroom using this leveler vertically, and it worked incredibly well. The brightness was very bright and did not dim in sunlight.The mount-ability and mobility were very good. It self-levels itself, and makes an annoying beeping sound until it readjusts, but, as soon as its level again, it stops making sounds.The battery lasted about 4 hours of active running, and was able to charge for about 15 minutes and run for another 4 hours without issue.I got this while it was on sale, and honestly, I would’ve been happy paying full price for this item because of how great it worked.It’s simple to use. The large packaging might be daunting, but it comes with a carrying case that holds all the parts. I did not need any instructions, as it was self explanatory putting it together and using it.10/10 for the value.Like I said, the only annoying part was its height. It only extends about 4.5 feet high, making the horizontal leveler kind of useless for anything such as picture hanging, etc unless you put it on an elevated surface.

The laser itself is amazingly good and works really well. Comes ina nice packing case but the major concern is the tripod which is very bad and difficult to adjust at angles it does not stay in place and even after setting it slightly bends over may be by 2 or 3 degrees which completely messes up the required height..if you won't use a tripod go for this. But if you want to use tripod tand set the laser at an angle...avoid it

Works great so far.I decided to go with this cheaper version versus the dewalt one that goes for $450. The only downside there is no magnet. I purchased a separate round magnet with a screw, but the laser will only work in the upward orientation. Haven’t used the tripod. Nice to have two batteries - lasts around 2-3 hours. The laser works outside, but not as bright as the dewalt one.

When uses indoors, this casts a strong beam in vertical and horizontal planes. The self leveling appears to work great and I have used it over 20 feet with very good results. As others have stated, it can be difficult to see in bright sunlight outside, but is usable in shaded areas. For this price I would highly recommend it.
