I wanted a mount for a Carpodgo unit since I didn't want to mount on the windscreen and a mount I'd used that attached to the fans blocked the car's screen, the CD slot mount looked ideal since it would put the display out of the way across the redundant stereo. I thought the Carpodgo unit would be a bit heavy for the slot mount and may need some extra support however so far I've had no issues, the slot mount is entirely supporting the Carpodgo and feels secure. The display does wobble a bit since there's nothing to dampen the motion from the car but that doesn't bother me.

We did feel like children sticking a jam sandwich into a CD slot and surprising enough it felt very real.Adjustment is by the mean of a screw that opens up jaws to clamp the unit into the CD gap. Unfortunately, the idea sounds great on paper but doesn’t seem to work in principle as #1 It’s not solid enough so anything mounted shakes about #2 The added weight of anything heavy puts an awful lot of strain on the CD opening. Including self-adhesive padding to cover a “wide opening CD slot” seem like an afterthought to cover a design flaw?Unfortunately, this appears to be another case of a product not being tested correctly in a moving car or even the product listing being checked correctly because the blatantly photoshopped pictures are reversed!As for “Will not interfere with CD playback” and “Adjustable telescopic with two parts for you to adjust the angle” are both sadly untrue. If you are going to sell a product on a reputable selling site you would at least make some attempt to be accurate?I think the only conclusion we can draw from this is break your CD slot and it will cost you a lot more then £14.39 to replace it. At least you’re not going to damage a window with a clink window sucker.

Good but not great, if there was more length on the screw it might be more solid when in the cd slot.
