Great grill !

This grill is HEAVY!We haven’t used it yet but it looks really sturdyI have to wait and see how well it will do after getting wet.Hopefully we won’t see any rust

I recently purchased the BTG Gear Tailwaves Grill , primarily to use on my boat, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with its performance. Assembly was incredibly easy and straightforward, taking me very little time to set up. The size of the grill is ideal—compact enough to fit comfortably on a boat, but still spacious enough to handle a good amount of food for a small group.What really stood out to me was how evenly the grill heats. We used it to cook hot dogs, and they came out perfectly cooked with that nice, even sear you want from a grill. I imagine it would work just as well for burgers, steaks, or any other grill favorites. The heat distribution is really impressive, which can be tricky for a portable grill, but this one performs exceptionally well in that department.The boat rod mount is another excellent feature. It fits perfectly and keeps the grill stable, even when the boat is moving. There was no wobbling or shifting, which gave me peace of mind knowing the grill was secure.One of the things I love most about this grill is its versatility. The boat mount is easy to remove, which means it’s not just for marine use—you can take it off and bring the grill along to tailgating parties, camping trips, or even just backyard barbecues. It’s really a two-in-one product, making it great for anyone who enjoys grilling in different settings.And when it comes to value, this grill is hard to beat. For the price, you get a high-quality stainless steel propane grill that’s durable, easy to transport, and packed with practical features. I doubt you’ll find a better grill in this price range, especially one that offers both marine and on-the-go use. It’s been a great investment, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile, well-made portable grill.

I have written very few reviews, but this BBQ Grill exceeds all of my expectations. The build quality is excellent AND it comes with a fishing rod mount for my boat that is a far better mount than Magma. The mount alone is worth the price I paid for the grill. The quality of the grill is just as good if not better than Magma or Camco/Kuuma. It is a small and perfect grill for our boat.

It works! We shall see how long it lasts. Used it twice now. It’s a nice little grill for your boat! Grease tray seems to work pretty good.Regulator works as it should.

This is a pretty awesome, if somewhat small grill. It's not a really large surface area for people wanting to do large volume cooking, but for a couple burgers, a few steaks, or a cedar plank fish it's pretty awesome.The build of the grill is nice and full stainless steel. It comes with an attachment to mount it on a boat, but we are using it as a camping grill so the expanding feet is perfect for us. The amount of setup isn't much with just a few things secure on such as the handle and the gas pipe.While the build is pretty and solid metal, but there are some thin parts mostly on the inside when you are first setting it up that can give you a pretty gnarly cut on the hand when you are fishing out the stuff for the grill. The reason this grill gets an easy 4 star is while it's pleasant to look at, it just isn't fully safe to mess around with. There's lot of sharp edges on the outside also you can get caught on and get a nick or a cut such as the latch for the grease trap, or the edges of the legs that pop out.It's a propane grill so it works nice. We had no issues there and did the standard fare of hot dogs and burgers on it. There's not an incredible amount of height on it so if you like to cook on things like a griddle pan and make a big pile of nachoes or something, you don't have much height clearance.Overall for the price and such a cute small grill it is it's an awesome product. We are a small family so this grill is perfect for a quick fix, and the propane makes it quick and easy.
