Great Switch that supports fast speeds
This works great! Very easy to setup and instantly improved the speed of our internet. I had a 1G switch, but have eero 2.5G access points. This allowed me to get the full speed I was paying for.

Don't waste money on others!!
Purchase and returned two cheaper switches due to issues with Killer E3100G 2.5G NIC cards. Purchase the MS308 and all computers came straight on-line with no issues, really appreciate the capability for the switch automatically identifies the data rate and automatically switches down. I have two are 1000 and one at 100 which have had zero issues with this switch. Setup is basic plug-play, small in size, have had zero heat issues and it's on 24/7. From know on when I need a new switch NETGEAR is the only one to purhcase

Fast and Steady
Fastest switch out there for 2.5GB. Speed stays steady and fast without any issues.

expensive but solid performer
I have tired the cheap ones and I no longer want the weird problems, pricey but it just flat out works and works well.

Got rid of a bottleneck in a 1GB network
After installing this network switch, I was able to get the full speed on my home network devices. My NAS and PCs all have gigabit ethernet, but I wasn't able to get full 1GB speeds using 1GB MOCA and ethernet switch.I upgraded my router, MOCA adapters and ethernet switches to 2.5 GB speeds and I was finally able to connect to my NAS to a full GB. I suspect the bottleneck was my old ethernet switch which wasn't able to sustain multiple connections at 1GB.I must note that I had to order twice because the first time I received an open box item. In this open box came an older (and lower speed) ethernet switch. So, make sure you check that the box and item serial numbers match for these high price items.

Perfect Network Switch if you have a 2 gig+ network with 2.5 GB devices
This is the next generation of Network switch you will need to upgrade your network if you are moving above the 1Gb speed. These switches run much hotter than their predecessors which handled much slower network bandwidth. If you are upgrading your network to 2 GB to 10 GB speeds, you will want to consider this Switch for your network devices that support speeds over 1 GB.
