100% failure rate!
I bought the 10cm version of this back when it was a bargain price, and was initially very pleased with it - so pleased that I later bought one for hubby as well, and also recommended these to friends of ours who bought them...Only, hubby's one has has some form of slow leak from brand spanking new - whilst it hasn't gone down in the night in use, when packed it inflates itself in its bag and so squishes outwards and becomes incredibly hard to remove the next time you want to use it. Not terribly impressed with that, but thought maybe that was a 1-off.... until my mat started to lose air in the night in use!2 out of 2 with failures - not impressed tbh, with a 100% failure rate in ours. And we're not at all heavy-handed with our equipment and treat all our kit with care.Just watching and waiting for if/when friends' mats now also fail... (cry)So, 2 stars only - for the bargain price from way back, and the 4 or 5 uses I've had from mine before it too has now failed. It's not fun finding yourself in huge amounts of pain, hardly able to move, because you're literally lying on the ground and your back is threatening to pop out again...Noting now that other reviewers have been discovering some issues similar to these, and that it is difficult to a/ find the leak and b/ fix the leak cos the repair items supplied do not work on the mat material. Sigh. Will not be looking at Ultrasport for buying any replacements.Edit: I've taken the numerical scoring down to the lowest you can do here - 1 star only.Any friends or acquaintances of mine to whom I have mentioned Ultrasport in a good light previously, please kindly notice that I now revoke any recommendation I have ever made about Ultrasport. The only recommendation I can now make is to avoid them. This is because Ultrasport appear to be very good at ignoring all contact attempts, so any offers made on this site about replacing faulty items "at once" are moot in my direct experience. If I get no response again from emails sent to an alternative email address I found myself for Ultrasport, as the one they supply in their 'ever so sorry' comment on my review here gains zero reply other than auto system acknowledgement, I'll be asking Amazon to intervene if they can and also looking to Trading Standards and Court action against the UK supplier if advised.Enough is enough.

Could have been great; but possible design flaw.
When I first bought these they were a revelation; much, much more comfortable than a normal blow up air mattress when camping and I was thrilled to put those cold days of bad sleep out in the wilds behind me. True, they were a bit fiddly to collapse and store and are quite large so no good if you are hiking I'd imagine, but all in all a 5 star product. So, why the 1 star? I have 3 of these now, and 2 of them have failed. Both failures are because the nozzle doesn't sit properly and so is not airtight; you can close it as tight as you want but air will escape rendering these beautiful things completely useless.I'm embarrassed as well as I've really recommended these to friends and I'll have to withdraw those recommendations now.I've e-mailed Ultrasport who have not responded at all other than an automatic e-mail to say 'don't reply to this e-mail'. Thanks for that Ultrasport...As the faults developed over a few months and I'm only a fair weather camper I can't now return to Amazon as too much time has gone by.So, don't bother with these they don't work; nice idea, but very bad execution; that's a failure rate of 66%.Risk it if you want but be prepared to be sleeping on the ground if the dice don't roll your way and from my experience 2/3rds of the time they won't.EDITUltrasport have replaced both the failed mats; they have said that they give a life time guarantee on the workmanship. I'm very pleased with that response and have updated my stars to reflect that.Keep that in mind if you do get them and you have the problems I did they should replace them. That is a relief as these are so much more comfortable than air mattresses!

WOW
I ummed and ahhed between this and an inflatable mattress which I have used before but don't find them very comfortable I was assured by friends who go camping a lot that these are better so I took the plunge, I wanted the 10cm ones but they appear to be on a long lead time so I went for the 6cm ones. I followed all the advice below & lay them flat they self inflated happily & I left them for 24 hours. The came the part I was dreading - getting them back into their bags. Again I followed the advice below and managed to get both back in their bags & I suffer from painful arthiritis in my hands and fingers. I just took my time did it very methodically & carefully and managed it. Knowing I'll be comfy makes me really look forward to mynext camping trip.

This product is good but the size is not
This product is good but the size is not. I requested to buy 10cm one and I was sent a 6cm which I then sent back and got a new one which was the same. This Iteam is great but not 10cm has described therefore I say don't waste time and money buying this : (

Comfortable but impossible to get back into bag after use
great mats but a real pain to get back into bags. I read the reviews so wasn't surprised but thought maybe I would be able to manage it. I bought 4 for my family and none of us can manage them so have resorted to buying some Velcro straps to hold them in a roll. this makes them big and bulky to store and a pain to fit in our car when travelling. They could do with providing larger storage bags or compression sacks to help with this

Very comfortable
My partner and I slept on the 10cm version of this for 5 nights at the Silverstone GP- not one complaint! Tried many other products prior to this including dual chamber air beds etc but nothing compared to this. No roll together, stay inflated, very comfortable, good size and great price compared to other brands. Very pleased.

Great buy
Very handy, light, and a great night's sleep. Takes a few mins to deflate to bring home but nothing major. Excellent for camping.
