Resiblock Superior Natural Matt Block Paving Sealant 5Lt

Great product just treated our drive again after fives years and still looking great

My drive had not been treated in years, and was looking very tired: dirty with many weeds and moss. I power washed the drive, which cleaned it up and got rid of all the weeds/moss, then brushed in new kiln dried sand [used the slightly more expensive "Dansand No Weed" product from Wickes]. The drive was then looking very good, but as a final step I decided to seal it. Having researched various sealants, I chose the Resiblock Superior Natural Matt, having read that it lasts longer than other (cheaper) products. Only needed to apply one coat, which I did with a long handled roller (and paint brush for the edges). Went on fine, and gives the drive a slightly wet look. Its only been two weeks since I put it on, but so far so good - absolutely no weeds anywhere on the drive :-) If the product does what it says on the tin, hopefully won't have to worry about weeds for several years :-)

Great product has made block paving like new and after a couple of months no sign of weeds yet. The only drawback to this is the smell which is understandable when spreading it on but we had a smell in the house for about a month in rooms that had doors and windows closed I assume it was due to air bricks next to the blockpaving, no smell outside once properly dried. Only marked four for value for money as there are cheaper products about but as I have not used them can’t compare quality so bit of an unknown

Great product to seal block paving but expensive to do large areas. Hoping it lasts

I applied my Resiblock sealant to my lockblock driveway 18 months ago. This was a fairly large area and in my opinion I did the job pretty thoroughly. Two coats to the freshly applied kiln sand plus going over the jointing sand with a brush application in addition! Despite this there is considerable weed infestation to some areas which will have to be deweeded. This is a huge disappointment since a weed free driveway was the whole object of the exercise and feel it should have had a longer life. I have contacted Resiblock today asking for their comments/observations/suggestions. I have been pretty diligent about routine maintenance with moss not being allowed to accumulate. Spent a considerable sum and at this moment don't think it was worth the expenditure, labour, etc. This is a residential property with only one car so there is little disturbance or displacement of any kind. In fairness some parts are OK which suggests it works, but overall it doesn't seem to be sufficiently effective. Is the Resiblock a consistent quality? Hope to get a response quickly

Its quite good. A bit pricey but it seems to have done the job and sealed in my block paving
