I purchased it as a throughout gun.... but after using it we cleaned very well and kept it for the next time....

The only complaint that I have about this spray paint gun is the round nozzle tip. If it was more angled it would work even better. However, with that said I'm not unhappy with it. It did a good job on my s2000 and the paint was sprayed evenly. No runs or drips.

Returned one I purchased from a big chain store, this is much much better!

Use these to spray gelcoat (polyester) does the job well and cheap, the gelcoat destroys spray guns

I’ve been using the HVLP Automotive Gravity Feed Paint Gun Kit, and I have to say, it’s quite impressive considering the price! The kit comes with five nozzle sizes (1.4mm, 1.7mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, and 3.0mm), offering plenty of versatility for different projects. The 1000cc aluminum paint cup is sturdy, holding a good amount of paint for continuous spraying without needing frequent refills.In terms of performance, this paint gun delivers. The quality is exceptional for something at this price point, and it gives smooth, consistent spray patterns. However, there are a few small design issues that could be improved. For one, the paint cup lid pushes into the cup and is held in place purely by friction. I would much rather have a twist-on lid to prevent spills, especially when holding the gun at an angle. I would also prefer a shorter cup with a greater circumference. It feels like a bit of a lazy design choice.Another minor gripe was the pre-installed Teflon tape on the threads. There was so little of it that it was essentially useless—I had to replace it with tape I had in my toolbox to ensure a proper seal. Additionally, all the nozzles, spray needles, and attachment tools were packed inside the paint cup, which caused some minor dents and scratches. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s worth noting because the paint cup will come damaged, scratched, and looking cheap.Overall, it’s a great little spray gun for the price, but it’s not something a professional painter would rely on for serious work. It’s a fantastic option for hobbyists and DIY projects. For the price, it’s hard to beat the value this kit offers. I’d can recommend it for those looking for a reliable, affordable, mid-quality, spray gun.
