Amazing read, suitable for busy adults
Loved this book!! Written simply for teens but it captured me. I had zero knowledge of Greek mythology and wanted something light but informative. The beginning is extemly helpful as it gives an overview of who Homer is, and taught me that it was two separate stories.Couldn't put it down the stories are so riviting. Amazing imaginative writing. Lots of the Greek myth books are big and details. This writer does a good job giving the full story in an easy way. Very suitable for busy adults who want a light read, to learn and have enjoyment. I feel educated!

Excellent way to introduce these stories
Having both the Iliad and the Odyssey in one book offers a great opportunity to introduce these stories to everyone - even if the book IS pitched at children. The well-known myths are there (Trojan horse, Achilles' heel, the Sirens, etc) along with many others you might have forgotten (or never known about at all).My only suggestion would be to add a pronunciation guide for all the names!
