I’ve wanted a pasta attachment for my KitchenAid mixer for a long time but haven’t been unwilling to spend the money (more than $200 here on Amazon) for the name brand attachment. When I had the opportunity to review this product, which sells for about $54 (as of this writing) I decided to try it in hopes it would perform well and I could also provide a review to others who, like me, wanted a pasta attachment but didn’t want to spend a fortune. I am pleased to report that this product worked perfectly with my KitchenAid mixer. I tested it by making homemade fettuccini and angel hair pasta. This attachment worked perfectly for both and was easy to use. The first step to making those shapes is making a thin, broad noodle which could be used as a lasagna noodle. That also worked as expected. Although I didn’t cook the intermediate lasagna noodles, I’m sure it would have been fine. However, I did cook and eat the fettuccini and angel hair shapes. They cooked quickly and tasted great. Besides the attractive price, one feature that I like about this item is that the top cover over the rollers is easily removeable for cleaning. I’m always concerned about the life expectancy of a low-cost option, but so far this product has been working well. Given I don’t use it frequently, I anticipate it will last a lifetime.

This hooked onto my KitchenAid stand mixer without any problems, fast and easy. My family spent all weekend making pasta dough and trying out the various settings in order to “make” pasta. It provided a lot of family fun in the kitchen, even my 5yr old could said he felt like a real chef! The attachment hooks right up and it rolls your pasta per the speed on the mixer, it’s very easy. This is a great value as it is a lot less than the name brand product, yet it performs exactly the same, and provides you with several pasta options without having to change other attachments out. Cleaning it isn’t hard, I recommend letting any dough left on it dry a little so it crumbles out. 5 Stars! This is highly recommended for anyone’s kitchen that wants to make fresh pasta.

I bought this pasta maker to attach to my KitchenAid mixer. This attachment made making pasta very easy. It was easy to use , fit well and cleaned up very easily. It is made of heavy duty material but easy enough to use that children can help!

Here are some pros and cons to consider.Pros:- It helps with kneading. Takes away the need to exert so much force and strength kneading dough.- It also produces different kinds of pasta with its two other rollers. One for thin pasta and the other for thicker pasta.- The operation of this attachment is relatively simple. Just line up the markings and tighten the knob. No need for any fancy adjustment or installation.Cons:- Oiling the gears and metal moving parts might be an issue because of how tight the tolerances/gaps are.This is a keeper because of the energy and time saved.

There's no comparison between fresh home made pasta and packaged pasta. This 3-in-1 roller makes the process of going from dough to pasta a snap. The attachment is not dishwasher safe, so I first time cleaned it by running moist paper towels several times through each slot with it running on my Kitchen Aid.I ran the dough through the flattener several times, successfully adjusting for thinner pasta each time, and finally ran it through the fettuccini cutter. The pasta roller is quite loud, but not excessively and if it gets worse over time, I may lubricate the gears.I boiled the pasta right after cutting it and my taste tester highly recommends the CUNTENFAST Pasta Maker 3-in-1 Kitchen Aid attachment!
