Works great, but replacements parts, like air filter and blades are impossible to find in the USA.
I've had this mower for about 2 years. I have a steep back yard and this is the first and only machine that can cut it, even with 3-4 foot tall grass and weeds!.Pros: It is powerful enough to cut even the tallest of grass and weeds even on a steep slope. Starts right up with an electric starter, and runs smoothly. The blade height adjustment works great from the remote and goes from about 2" to about 6". because of small stumps, I mow the slope on the highest setting, but other parts of the yard I use a lower settings. The blade is a "swing blade" design so it doesn't bend the shaft if you do hit a stump or rock. The track system works very well. I have not had to adjust it so far, but the adjustments are there. Bottom line: this thing is a beast and cuts through pretty thick brush with ease. Especially compared to the weed eater with a metal blade that would take me several days to cut the back yard. This does it in a couple of hours. There are two power systems, a battery powered electrical system to drive the tracks for movement of the machine and blade height. The second is a gas motor that drives the cutting blade and alternator, which powers the electrical system when the gas motor is running and recharges the battery. the electrical system works without the gas motor running, so you can move it around on battery power alone. There is also a plug in power brick which can be used to charge the battery from 110AC.Cons: You cannot get parts for this system in the USA. I'm talking even the simplest things like air filter and replacement blades. Safety is a bit of an issue as well as there is no way to shut off the gas engine remotely. You have to push a "stop" button on the back of the mower. I think there are extra channels on the remote control that could be adapted to have a remote stop. I'll update this review if I get that to work. The documentation is poor and in some cases, incorrect. For example the gas motor manual was for an older model and had incorrect values for things like oil capacity.Bottom line: This is by far the most cost effective method for me to mow the back yard slope. US models are 2-4 times more expensive, but you need to be self sufficient and figure out how to make things works without proper documentation. Customer service responded to my questions, but were of limited assistance to my problems. Plus it shipped from China and took over 6 weeks to arrive, so plan ahead.
