Ladder Leveler, Pitch Hopper, Ladder Stabilizer with Storage, Ladder Levelers for Stairs and Extension Ladders, Easy to Use, Conquer Uneven Ground (Black, Upgraded Heavy-Duty Plastic)

This ladder leveler looks lighter in weight but it actually is substantial. This is a good thing as I don't think you would want a lightweight plastic leveler when you are up on the roof/stairs, etc. It can be used in different orientations (upright, on its side, etc) for different jobs. The surface on the ground has very thick rubber feet with teeth so that the grip is solid. In the upright orientation the slot for your ladder leg has an edge that would prevent the ladder from slipping out of the leveler. I haven't tried it yet, but it can be used between a ladder and a wall to straddle window frames etc that might keep your ladder from reaching the object you are trying to work on. The same ledge that keeps the ladder legs from slipping out also provides a hook that can be hung from your ladder if you are trying to straddle an obstacle. THe sideways orientation is the correct height for standard stairs and the surface has a sandpaper like anti slip cover on it to keep the ladder legs from slipping. THe upright orientation if hanging from a ladder provides a tool caddy spot - the depth is too deep for most tools but the ledge would be handy for smaller tools like screwdrivers. Overall it is a versatile leveler that can be used in many ways and on many surfaces.

I don’t have stairs in my house, but there is a lot of uneven ground in my yard where we do normal chores. The ladder leveler will keep me from worrying when my husband has to climb the stepladder in those uneven places. The written instructions are clear, but the illustrations only show using it as a carry tool. The uses could have been more defined.

I see that the MARKETTY Ladder Leveler will be way better than the rock or board I always seem to be running after to level up my ladders. That is the main reason why I obtained the leveler. The wrapping pasteboard on the leveler has a lot of safety information, as well as suggestions on how it might be used. Like another reviewer I tried it on some steps, but the steps didn't line up well. The treads were too narrow, and the height didn't match. The other uses, while promising to be a clever way for a staging and so forth, would require extreme caution. I suggest using ladder stabilizers at the top of ladders. The MARKETTY Ladder Leveler looks very strong. It has six threaded steel rods pulling the sides together.

Wish it was lighter but I'll be putting it to the test on various situations where it's just me working. Which is typically always lol. I'll report back with my experiences.

This is one of those items that is really useful if you are on a ladder often. For the average home owner probably not so much. I like the weight, durability and the no slip grip. It didn't line up well with my staircase but that may be my problem. I like the use of this on a ladder. I will use this from time to time.
