I love this mattress topper. It is exactly what I need. The Firmness is excellent. I definitely recommend it.

My bed was sagging so much, I had just spent close to a grand on it and it continued to give me back problems. it was just too soft and plush. you'd sink right in, and then that side of the bed would stay sunken down. making it uncomfortable.this topper fixed all of my problems. its so firm. my back no longer hurts after sleeping. i am sensitive to sitting on my bed as my lower back kills after. with this topper, i can sit on it for short periods of time before my lower back starts to malfunction lol. if you have back problems and need something to help align your back/stop the sinking in your bed - definitely get this

Purchased a Queen size Toper to use on a memory foam mattress that is in ok condition. This trooper is great. Comes compressed in plastic with directions and a letter opener to remove the plastic. Toper expanded as soon as it was placed on the bed to very close to 3 inches. The smell was very minimal. My significant other, who is very sensitive to smells agreed that there was very little smell. It is firm but not to firm. Slept on it the first night after opening without and problems. Worth trying if you have an older mattress.

Seeing some reviews that said this was too firm was enough to convince me this might be firm enough for me. It is. It allows the pressure points (hips, shoulders, knees to compress the foam enough that you then feel support all along the spans between those points. Your whole body feels evenly supported by it. For me, that means I'm not shifting position as often when I'm sleeping, and sleep seems more restful because of that. I was leery of spending hundreds of dollars for an entire mattress that I might not like after I got it home. This topper is just what I was looking for.

was not sure if i wanted to buy another matress pad, being that 2 i bought in the past i threw out after a few nights..my matress is still half decent, but i wanted something more supportive and firm...so glad i purchased this...it is really VERY FIRM..like the zip off cover..like the corner straps to keep it in place..unlike some reviews, there is NO smell and NO lumps..not in mine anyway...if you prefer soft, this is not for you..if you want really firm- this is just perfect

This is actually my bad for not expecting this bed topper to be as firm as described. Now I see that it does say extra firm, so if you're looking to buy something to soften your firm mattress, this is not it. This topper is two sided, supposedly one softer than the other but barely. They are both hard. Besides being disappointed with the firmness, the cover that it comes with says "Do Not Wash" , it is spot clean only. It also says do not remove pad from cover. Why then does it come with a nicely zippered cover? It might as well be one piece.I did actually have a legitimate problem with the extended delay it requires to expand fully. After four days in a 70 degree room is still has a large ridge running down the center. I even took a hair dryer to it as the directions suggest , but it made little difference. It's not usable yet.I will be returning this product and continue my search for a more cloud like feel with a washable outer cover. If firmness is what you're looking for, perhaps to rejuvenate an older saggy mattress, this could be the right product for you. Surprisingly it does not seem to have any odor. Also, the cover is of decent quality but the elastic straps to hold it to the mattress are cheap.

Being 100% honest this is an amazing product I’ve slept so well these past days but the smell after opening the package was strong I had to keep the window open for a few hours for it to ease up .. a strong chemical like smell .. but to be honest it’s worth the air out and the wait .. its thick and extra firm as described.. fits the bed perfectly and again I’ve had amazing sleep these past couple of days.. overall very happy with this purchase.. definitely worth the price

Didn't really work for us. Gets soft and my wife's back got worse after using it for a week. Ending up returning it unfortunately.

it could save my back. not sure why someone revived that it wasn’t firm enough. they might forget too swap the extra firm side or they should sleep on the floor to get more firm than this product
