SMOK Alien Kit - 220w Temperature Controlled Mod with 2ml TFV8 Baby Tank - 100% Authentic from Premier Vaping (Black/Blue)

This is my third and last Smok Alien purchase. First one the threads that to connect to the tank ripped out, the second one stopped turning on completely (swapped batteries with brothers mod and they work fine, also not in silent mode). And this one the battery door wont stay shut! I'll be driving or something and all of a sudden I've got my batteries rolling around the bottom of my car.Shame because its a really nice designed mod too, just far too many issues so far.

A really great mod, Probably the most compact 2 battery mod I have used. I don't use the baby beast tank but it's a good started sub ohm tank and will blow your head off if this is you first proper mod. I would recommend getting Fogstar 35000mAh batteries to go with this mod.I use my with an Arco tank which it pairs really well with.

Had it for just over a month now and was all good until a few weeks ago it had a message saying “ohms too low” I did everything to fix it but nothing worked.. apparently the motherboard is broken and won’t read the coils. I wouldn’t expect this just from over a month of use..

Great quality vape

I have had this over three months now so thought it was time for a review.Firstly the positives. It is extremely easy to use and just as easy to take apart and clean. Filling is also very easy with a nice swivel top making the whole process a doddle. Adjusting watts is straightforward with two buttons on the front and entering the settings and making changes is easy too, three clicks of the trigger takes you into settings and 5 clicks lock the device. Strength can be changed from soft to normal to hard and the mode can be changed from watts to temp mode should you wish. The front display is clean and bright with a battery meter puff counter volt ohms and amp readings as well as a pcb temperature reading.Flavour is good and my coils of choice are 0.15 ohm coils which as a sidenote when you do insert a new coil it asks whether you have or not and if you click yes it automatically sets the ohms according to whatever coil you have installed. Now as i mentioned earlier while flavour is good the tfv8 baby is one thirsty tank and drinks eliquid by the gallon it seems so be prepared for this. Another negative is that after two months of use during which I was charging through the mod (which actually does a good job of balancing out the charge between the two 18650 cells) the micro usb bracket housing just came out with the charger hence i took two stars off for build quality as this shouldn't happen after a couple of months of careful use. Anyway end result i purchased a nitecore i4 and now charge the cells via this which I highly recommend.Right finally you may have noticed i said i took 2 stars off but gave it 4 stars how come. Well this is because a few weeks ago I dropped the whole thing in the bath while it was on and this resulted in the screen not working the mod not firing and ohms reading 0 all the time! However after letting it dry for 24 hours everything was up and running as normal and for this smok wins a star back from me resulting in an overall 4 stars from me it's good very good but not perfect.Btw little tip pressing the two front buttons at the same time can also lock/unlock the device.
