A headliner premium Gin
Firstly the bottle is beautiful, nice pattern and tinge, feels lovely to hold too. Its the first sign that you have a quality product. To consume the Gin has a reassuringly nice Juniper aroma, fruity too. Its very smooth, botanicals work very well in harmony. I would recommend drinking with a non flavoured tonic such as standard Fever Tree and a slice of Lemon (Grapefruit also works well). essentially let the Gin do all the work...its that good.Would make a great gift for a Gin enthusiast, I notice the brand has gift sets which look great. Also worth checking out the distillery website too.Highly recommended

Very good gin indeed
We frequented a gin bar while in Cyprus for our recent holiday. A type of gin I like was not available and the staff recommended I try this premium gin. It was very expressive with mixer out there, but very enjoyable also. On return I tried to source a bottle locally but could only find readily available on Amazon. Silent Pool is very pleasant with a unique flavour and no unpleasant aftertaste. I personally prefer gin with lemonade, but occasionally have it with a quality tonic. You won’t be disappointed with this tipple.

A staple gin
Silent Pool is always welcome in my home. The bottle is very pleasing on the eye and the gin is smooth and clean. I’m no expert, but my G&Ts come out best when I make them in this order…ice to a wide-rimmed glass, gin, Fever-Tree Indian or Mediterranean tonic (not ‘Refreshingly Light’) and then whatever garnish you’re adding, but never more than two. Stir at the end. Orange zest goes perfectly with this gin.Minor gripe - The only thing I’m not keen on is the glass stopper. Aesthetically, the bottle is lovely, but every time I open it, the stopper hits the inside of the glass, and glass hitting glass, albeit with minimal force, always incurs a slight worry that it’ll chip. The bottle-designers have understandably kept with a fluid glass design, as the bottle looks far superior to how cork could ever look. However, it’s really no big deal and will certainly not put me off continuously buying this. Some people may not love Silent Pool but no one could ever dislike this gin, so it’s a very safe bet, if anyone is considering blind-buying.This, as well as Plymouth, Malfy Rosa and Cotswolds Dry Gin, are the gins I currently have in my possession, and they’re all delightful!

Excellent gin but getting far too expensive
This has been our go-to gin for quite a while and we were reasonably happy with a price range of £34-35 which was often the case. Suddenly it has become £42.50 which makes you think twice which is why I have dropped a star. Yes, it is a superior gin but is it worth twice the cost of some good gins on offer? That said, there is no doubt about the quality of the gin, its fragrance and spices and, of course, a remarkable bottle - perhaps save money on the bottle, and charge less? Only suggesting. Best of luck to a fine distillery. Just hope we can find some compromise on price.
