Better than I expected!Our shower tray was draining incredibly slowly and I thought we had a major problem- I actually called out a plumber to take a look (amongst other jobs) and he recommended this product to me. I was skeptical at first but it has worked a charm. Super satisfying to hear the ‘glug glug glug’ as it got to work to clear the blockage.No nasty smell, no damage to plug hole or chrome fixtures etc and you simply wash away with hot water.Water now runs freely. I do shed a lot of hair and assume that a large part of the blockage was this. The product states that it specifically tackles hair clogs so I was pleased.Packaging is sturdy and safe but will obviously still keep out of reach of children.

I used the Mr Muscle Drain Unblocker on a slow-draining bathroom sink and later on a kitchen drain that had started backing up. It's a thick gel formula that claims to work three times better than bleach and is safe for all pipes.What I liked:Works fast on mild to moderate blockages - In the bathroom sink, it cleared the clog in about 15 minutes. Water started flowing normally again without any plunging.Heavy gel sticks well - Unlike thinner cleaners, this one stays where you pour it. It clings to the blockage instead of running straight through.No strong chemical smell - It has an odour, but it's not overpowering or irritating like some other products.Safe on pipes - Used it on plastic and metal drains with no issues or visible wear. Didn't need to worry about damage.Good value in the duo pack - Two bottles means you're covered for multiple uses or tougher blockages.What I didn't like:Struggles with tougher clogs - It didn't fully clear the kitchen drain on the first try. I had to use a second dose the next day.Needs time to work - Even though it's labelled "fast-acting," you still have to leave it for at least 15 minutes or longer for deeper blockages.Cap design is messy - The bottle cap drips after pouring unless you wipe it down, which is annoying if you store it under the sink.Final thoughts:Mr Muscle Drain Unblocker is a solid, easy-to-use option for everyday clogs in sinks, showers, and drains. It's not magic on major blockages, but for routine maintenance or minor slow drainage, it does the job without harsh fumes or pipe damage. The duo pack is decent value if you want to keep one in the house as backup.

Water was draining a little slowly from my walk-in shower tray and the usual remedy - a solution of caustic soda - had no effect this time.I therefore bought this product based on the highly favourable Amazon reviews/ratings and the Which? endorsement. I carefully poured the entire contents of a one litre bottle down the drain last thing at night, followed by a kettle of boiling water the following morning. I had a few misgivings but the result was simply amazing! The drain flowed perfectly freely afterwards.This product is highly effective, easy to use and great value. What more could anyone ask for?!It’s not often a product lives up to all the hype in my experience. However, this one clearly does and it’ll be my number one choice in future. Just buy it; you won’t have any regrets.

Brilliant product, effective at unclogging drains of shower and bathroom sink. Clear and concise instructions. Always does the job and ensures a good result. My first choice time and time again.

Out of all the drain deblockers i have used, this one has been the best and most reliable., my barthroom sink drain is connected to the bath drain, and recently if you have the taps in the sink running for more then 10 seconds the water start to come up thought the bath plug hole, well using 1 bottle, half down the sink plug hole and half down the bath pug hole left over night this cleared the problem, now can run the taps on the sink fully open and for even a whole minute and no water coming up through the bath plug hole.So really good at dealing with blockages, no real smell from the product, will use again

A thick, gooey, bleach like substance that manages to stick to the surfaces of the drain on the way down ensuring better cleaning power than normal bleach. I’ve found it useful for more than just unblocking drains but also for general cleaning. We had an odour coming from one of our sink drains, which no matter how much bleach or cleaning with a pipe cleaner brush, we just couldn’t shift it. I poured the drain unblocked in and left it for 30 mins…..smell sorted! These size bottles are great value too.
