This is value for money, however, it arrived late this time

I have had to use these for some time and they are dreadful.The lancer that comes with the meter is just as bad.I wasted so many test strips trying to get anything on the lower setting 3.1 & 2 produced nothing.The only way I can get blood is on setting 5 which bleeds like a stuck pig for ages.Not pain free. it hurts like hell and the pain lasts pretty much the rest of the day.I hate the freestyle Lancer and Lancets so much that I would rather buy a more suitable system myself than use these which are provide free on prescription.I have been issued with two meters that have the freestyle lancer and lancets both of which were the same useless and painful pieces of rubbish.An UpdateI tried the Freestyle lancets in the ONE STEP LANCER that I purchased.On setting 3 they worked okay with very little pain (which did not last long either )I was able to get enough blood for the tests.It would seem from my experience with several freestyle lancers that it is the lancers units are dire.these freestyle lancets fit One Step lancers
