I'm writing this review because I wished there was a review that quelled my fears that this island would be a disappointing purchase that turns out to be not only difficult to assemble but also cheaply made. Fortunately, the experience was the opposite. The assembly, while a bit time consuming, was very easy and mostly straightforward. It can seem daunting when you see so many of the parts that need to be put together, but once you commence and take your time finding what you need, it's quite easy. So if this is the sign you need to get this, I say go for it.

VERY WIDE, NICE SIZE (WHEN COMPARTED TO OTHER ISLANDS ON AMAZON)...came in 2 boxes and stainless top is HEAVY and it does print so get yourself a steel cleaner. It's a great kitchen island especially since my new house did not come with one. BUT....be warned, it comes in a LOT of pieces with LOTS of bolts and screws and you WILL be spending a good amount of time putting this together!! Do yourself a favor and use a battery-powered drill or screwdriver! TRUST ME! Additionally, I had to toss one of the side doors because it didn't close right, but I was able to install the other doors fine and even with the left side being doorless, it looks like it was meant to be that way! Sturdy piece!

There were several scratches on the stainless steel Islands top. I got a partial refund, but it did not cover the cost of getting it repaired. So disappointed.

Half the parts arrived with no updates on other half of parts. I did return it for a refund.

For the price of it, it is exactly as expected and more. It is heavier duty than we thought it would be. Putting it together is tedious but with the instructions, manageable. Yeah, the top is cheap, but you pay for what you get. You could easily buff, shine, or replace the top easily if you want. I love it, just how it is!

The media could not be loaded. This took me about three to four hours to build. I did it all by myself it would be helpful to have another person helping you when putting the stainless steel top on it's super heavy and u really need another person to do so .if you don't have time or patience then dont buy lol you must give this time to build the aftermath is worth the wait.

Thought I’d like this but wasn’t sure. Absolutely love it and for the price point it’s 100% worth it. Instructions were a bit funky but overall easy to assemble. Two people 3-4 hours.
