Installation required having some electrical wires in the wall moved and a professional installation. This can be done on your own if you are a handyman, but it takes some work. The whole family (including the dogs) love the door!

I'll update after home completed and dog door installed. This is my 3rd purchase of this type of door over the years (due to moving). Received a flat box. Was shocked because last 2 purchases were in large square box. Opened and discovered the tunnel is in 4 sections. I'm sure it will work but it is just not what I expected based on the picture. The picture is for the more expensive dog door, the MaxPro. The color I received is almost a black color instead of the above color and yes, the security panel is white and in the MaxPro it is heavy steel. Now, this might work to my advantage as building a black and white barndominium and the color might blend in better. I got the 13x20 and it is HUGE. This will be great for my dog but I think a medium instead of THIS large will work. Pics later will help with what I'm talking about. I almost wish I would have spent the extra $200 and gone with the MaxPro as this only has 1 exterior flap instead of 2 like the last one I had. Might have a different interior panel made of steel for security purposes instead of using the plastic one included.

Easy to install and works great, my dogs love it

After getting the pet door and seeing it was not secure like the description said I returned it. It's been 3 months and I have reached out to the company about the status of my refund. I have not heard from anyone about it. I can not recommend this company.

Overall, it’s okay, and I stuck with it because it’s the largest wall-mount door I can find. However, the dimensions for installation proved way off. You should know that you’ll need over 17” of width to install this, which is important if you have 16” studs. I measured to their specs and it still wasn’t wide enough. Now that it’s installed, the biggest irritant is the “security door,” which is polycarbonate that bends so that it won’t slide all the way down, with a screw lock that only engages half the time. I wish I could’ve found a competitor offering this large, but I’m stuck with this.

No template, size variations, wrong hardware provider

I thought the security door was metal. It is some kind of plexiglass. Not secure at all. It can be kick in. I fabricated a metal door myself
