Beautiful lamp. The only reason for four stars is that a bulb did NOT come with it. For what this cost, it should have as the product description promised.

The mark up is ridiculous but since I loved my old version of this lamp which broke I bought 2. However, they didn't even come with the bulbs as it stated. I will be returning them. Not worth the price plus the hassel to also go track down bulbs now.

After reading reviews, I hesitated ordering but am certainly glad I placed an order. Love the amount of light this provides, the size of the globe. A great light to leave on when out for the evening. It did arrive without a bulb, and in the description, it stated it came with a bulb. Called customer service and within days I had the bulb.

The lamp itself is beautiful, but the halogen lightbulb it comes with (and requires) is very, very bright and harsh. I bought this because I wanted a soft, low light in my living room, but I am not even able to use it because it is so bright. The design on the lamp is lovely, just as in the photos, but when the light is on, you can't look directly at the lamp because the halogen bulb will hurt your eyes and leave an afterburn on your eyesight. I have ended up just leaving the lamp sitting on a side table, unplugged and never lit, because I like to way it looks but I hate the quality of light. The lamp is fitted for a halogen bulb only, so unless you are able to somehow completely take the product apart (it is screwed together pretty well, from what I can tell), you are stuck with it.

This is a cute lamp at a good price but it's very small and arrived scratched. It casts a glow similar to a nightlight. It's cute and petite but not really a "table lamp" as I think of them.

Wanted as a night light but it's a bit to bright for that use, otherwise, it's as expected

The lightbulb is really hard to install, because it just clips in. I bought this for a nursery because I wanted a lamp with a soft glow, but this is fairly bright. It is also really fragile. Mine broke.

I bought this lamp about three or four years ago from Amazon. It DID come with the bulb, and after 3-4 years, I'm replacing the initial bulb now! Very pleased with the life of the bulb, and this makes a great bedside table lamp as it does not take up much space. It's very pretty when illuminated.
