Not the most compact option if that's what you're looking for but I haven't noticed any aberrations or big changes to the image quality. Nice and weather resistant now. The knuckling looks cool.

Took a chance on this Haoge integrated UV protector instead of another brand I saw on YouTube. Glad this Haoge lens protector is so well designed. It keeps the x100vi looking compact. There is a lip around the filter to give a little protection. The gap between the control ring and the filter is tidy. Installed, the filter looks like it came in the box with the camera.

First a disclaimer: I have not yet received my X100VI, so I ran my testing on my X100S.I tried see if I could create flare by shooting against the sun first without the filter (left side of the image) and then with the filter on (right side of the image). I could not see any difference. Perfect!I then tried to compare the level of detail/contrast, which you can see in the image of the house facade. With the filter, I see a very slight loss in detail and a tiny bit less contrast (right side of the image). I will be looking forward to repeating these tests when I receive my X100VI (now expected by end of December).

My first impression when opening the box was to notice that the filter was manufactured with care and attention to detail. The aluminum body is fairly thick and sturdy. The knurling is perfect with no imperfections. The aluminum surface coating is evenly applied and a good match to the X100VI. I'm not certain how the threads are coated but the result is very smooth attachment and removal from the camera lens. The nano-coated glass surface has no imprefections. It's mounted with a ring the circumference.Simply remove the mounting ring and thread the filter in place. The results are impressive. I've noticed no aparante impact on image quality. If you're concerned about protecting your expensive camera lens the Haoge MC UV Camera Lens Protection Filter is an excellent choice.
