Hud first report
I ?had watched the You Tube review for this HUD. and followed it's guidance. Couldn't be easier. Due to shape or the dashboard !the unit was in front of steering wheel and I fitted the reflective film. The first very sunny day when the sun was setting the reflective film was slightly too high and the sun reduced the visibility of the hud. The fix was to put a sticker just under the film. I would recommend it possible to check position in sunlight and save work. The unit has worked perfectly well in temperatures of 34 C. There is a feature I overlooked and when you have been driving for over 4hours the alarm sounds and a red symbol flashes, on checking this is a cup with hot contents, so time to take a break.

Does what it says on the tin!
Does what it says on the tin really. Instructions could be a little clearer, but I've seen worse - and once you've set it up (mainly the rpm and mph offset that you need to worry about) you don't need to worry about it again.I specifically picked this up as my car (2009 Peugeot 107 - identical to Citroen C1 and Toyota Aygo) lacks a temperature gauge on the dash - and as an old-school motorist that really bothered me.This as expected reads the data from the OBD2 bus in realtime and displays it on a bright LED display which is reflected off the windscreen so that you can see it.Installing the reflective pad (not needed on all vehicles - it's purely to improve the visual contrast) is fiddly rather than difficult - it's a bit like trying to fit a smartphone/tablet screen protector with a steering wheel in the way!Have found having the speed display actually in my line of sight quite handy on the motorway, despite having not expected to use this really for anything beyond the temperature readout.Criticisms? Minor stuff really...especially for the price.-> Would be nice to be able to switch the fuel economy display to mpg rather than l/100km.-> A round section cable would be better as it's really hard to get the flat one attached to lay flat against the dash, so it looks untidy.-> Speedometer display update rate is a little slow (it updates roughly twice a second), though that may well be a limitation of the data bus rather than the device itself.Overall I'm really happy with it, especially for the price paid.

total crap, don't buy
Terrible product and terrible quality.1. Unable to adequately mount on the dash2. Speed is refreshed very slowly, like 2-3 seconds lag, which makes this thing obsolete.3. Similar thing for the RPM4. Consumption is something like 20 times more than the real. You can adjust from the menu, but first, why should I manually tell how much my car consumes and second apparently the setting for my car is out of bounds of the adjustment.total crap, don't buy

Highly Recommended
You can order a HUD as a factory option on BMW's for £895 or you can order this HUD for £29.99. The dials on my car are not that bright to see. This is excellent and on my car you do not need the added chrome screen. The information is easily seen in bright sun and with sunglasses on.
