I really wanted to love this coffee dust, but the lavender is just too strong. It contains very high quality natural ingredients; unsweetened cocoa (Ghirardelli), lavender, and sea salt. It is also a very fine powder, which is great to use as a topping for drinks and desserts. I first tried it sprinkled on top my morning smoothie today. When I tasted just the cocoa, the taste and scent of lavender was really strong and lingered in my mouth. I also made milk shakes for my family this evening and sprinkled it on top the whipped cream and the rest of my family said the same thing. But, once you mix it into a drink, it dilutes it. I think I will mix this with some additional cocoa to thin it out a little. But, it should be okay with a little mixed into a coffee or hot chocolate.The directions suggest using only 1/8 teaspoon, so you may need to experiment to find out what tastes best. It comes in a nice little tin that closes tightly, so if you wanted to take this with you when you travel, it would travel well. The can also has a QR code you can scan that takes you to their website for some recipes, which looked very good. It is made in the US and my can had an outer seal around the lid, so any tampering would be evident. Also, my can has an expiration date of January 6, 2026, so it is presumably shipped fresh and has a long shelf life. I feel the price for a gourmet product like this is reasonable. But, I knocked off a star because of the strong lavender taste. However, I would still recommend this and feel it would also make a nice gift.

This coffee dust is good to have around to add some flavoring. For this, especially anytime one would use cinnamon. However, it needs to come up. Oftentimes my drink will be fine without this, or just needs some sweetness, it is rare for the flavor to be so flat that I need to add something as impactful as this.It mixes easily and well into the drink and does add a strong element of the coffee dust taste. It is pretty strong that only a small amount is needed. This is good in that despite its cost and seemingly small amount, there is a lot of servings here that will last a long time.I am glad that it is just a bunch of natural herbs and spices without artificial ingredients or sweeteners.It has an okay expiration date of a little over a year.Order Date: 8/24/2024Expiration Date: 1/6/2026

I'm totally obsessed with this stuff - I got the sampler pack with all the flavors and have graduated to the bigger tins - I was skeptical of spicy coffee but now I'm addicted. And this stuff goes a long way - love it!

Comes in a nice plastic wrapped tin with a screw on cover, pretty nice for longevity, durability, and aesthetics.It is pretty decent in terms of taste. For me, the standout is cinnamon, then the underlying turmeric, nutmeg, and cardamom blends in the background as a more earthy taste, can't really taste too much salt.A little goes a long way, so only a pinch is needed.

This coffee dust is a unique product. It wasn't quite to my taste, but it did add a quick kick to my chocolate cocoa. The coffee dust comes in a metal jar with an easy to twist open and close lid.

It's not spicy up front, but has a kick in the throat that I love.
