I didn’t even need a hub just downloaded the app, screwed in the bulb, and it connected to my Wi-Fi in minutes but also connected to my ehco device.The color options are endless from warm white to cool daylight, plus tons of vibrant colors for different moods. It’s bright enough for everyday use but also perfect for setting a cozy vibe or party lighting. I love using the preset scenes (like “Relax” and “Focus”) and the scheduling feature so my lights turn on and off automatically.The value of the bulb and the use is stellar. I no longer needed to use my Pull turn on to access my light in my bedroom.One of the best features is the voice control it works flawlessly with Alexa and Google Assistant. I just say “Turn on the bedroom light” or “Dim the lights to 30%” and it listens immediately.For the price, this smart bulb adds a lot of convenience and personality to your space. I recently got the WiZ smart bulb and I’m really impressed! Setting it up with Alexa was super simple and it connects seamlessly. The light quality is great, bright, adjustable, and with tons of color options to fit any mood or occasion. I love being able to control it with my voice or through the app, whether I’m home or away. It’s energy-efficient and has definitely upgraded my home lighting experience. It was fairly easy to set up though it needs its own app on your phone. However once i set it up, i connected it to my alexa and able to control the lights through my echo devices. I like the ability to change colors and can ask my alexa to turn the light off without getting out of bed or flipping a switch. I was really excited to try this product, and the initial setup went smoothly. The instructions were clear and straightforward, so installation was no problem.The issues started after setup. I tried creating an automated schedule in the app but later changed my mind and updated it—only to find that the lights kept turning on at the same time as before. I’m not sure if that’s a fault of the product or the app, but it was confusing.I turned the lights off and on, then deleted the automation in the app, but the system seemed to get “confused.” At one point, it even changed my light bulb colors unexpectedly. Another frustrating issue was when one bulb in the same fixture would stay connected while the other disconnected, leaving me with an awkward one-light-on/one-light-off situation. I had to get out of bed to turn it off manually.Aside from the automation quirks, the smart connection itself was generally stable. I think a “reset all lights” option in the app—rather than just deleting individual automations—would make a big difference in fixing these problems.Overall, the hardware seems fine, but the app experience needs improvement before I can fully recommend it. My rating would be closer to a high 3 (maybe 3.5) instead of a 4.

I picked up this 3-pack of WiZ color smart bulbs to increase convenience and add some color to the home—and so far, they have been impressive. Installing them was easy: screw them in, turn on the WiZ app, and they linked up easily via 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi, no separate hub required, The system is very easy to use with schedules and presets, so mine are programmed to come on slowly in the mornings and pretend occupation when I am away, very handy features. The color range is vivid, and the dim-to-warm white is perfect for winding down in the evening. I also use voice control through Alexa, which always responds reliably.No connectivity/flickering issues so far (one of the very few general complaints), and solidly stable after over a week of usage. And, they are energy savvy (approximately 8.8 W bulb vs 60 W equivalent), which is pleasing knowing that they're not taking unnecessary power. If you're looking for versatile lighting that's easy to install, integrates seamlessly into any smart home, and brings serious value for money, then this WiZ bundle is an excellent choice.Another thing I wanted to mention also I first bought one these back in 2018 -2019 then bought this kit after got more lamps and that very first bulb I bought is still going bright and strong no issues ill include a photo, the life span on these is insane I've never thought it would make it this long before, worth the money might need to buy these for my entire home haha.
