What a wonderful pet product. It was love at first site with our cat, Mr. Kitty. He uses it every day, and it is helping him stay active.It took a while to put together, I must say, over 30 minutes. Some people who are more mechanically adapt may not take that long. But it was relatively easy, and all the parts fit very well.The cat exercise wheel is set up in our garage where Mr. Kitty lives. He is kinda an adopted cat - one of our neighbors moved and did not take their cat with them. Such people should be banned from every owning pets! We had room, as our cat of 22 years had recently passed away, so we took him in. Got shots, an implant, and he lives in our garage, just like our old cat did.My mother-in-law, who visits frequently and house sits for us when we travel, spoils our pets. So Mr. Kitty has gotten a bit chubby (as we have traveled much this year already.) The exercise wheel is an ideal encouragement for him to get more active, and it is working. We are frequently greeted with the whirling sound of the wheel when we go out to the garage.Initially I was not sure about this product - not sure it would actually work, not sure our cat would actually use it, but I am now a believer. This is an awesome exercise wheel.

This requires a good bit more assembly than I’d realized. I thought I’d be connecting maybe 4 curved pieces to make the full wheel, but each individual slat needs to be put in place. It’s a 2 person job, at least for me. I will say, the complicated assembly will likely lead to it being a stronger piece of equipment. The individual parts all seem to be good quality, but I have to wait to let my cats test it until I have a second set of hands to help with the assembly. I’ll update my review then.

This is an excellent indoor exercising contraption and sturdy piece of furniture for cats, and can also see enjoyment from small dogs and other pets. Assembly is comparable to putting together any other furniture in a box type product and will take some amount of time but is not difficult if following the step-by-step instructions. Cats seem to take no time to understand what it is and how to run on it and it has a nice soft inner track for them. I am impressed by how spacious it is yet is compact enough that it fits well in any room. I suspect someone could also stain and polish the wood on it to make it blend even more closely with other furniture in their homes, but I have not tried this as I like the natural wood appearance and is probably safer for pets this way.

It is decently packaged in double-layered boxes. The parts are compressed wood, and it comes with everything you need to assemble the wheel (wood screws, plastic anchors, screwdriver, etc.) The assembling process takes some guesswork since the parts are not labeled, but overall, it's all right. With some logic and handyman experience, I completed the assembly process with a power tool in about 30 minutes. Compared to the other wheels I had assembled, the final product is pretty good

I got this for my niece who loves her cat, Bumpy. It is made of high quality, sturdy material and was easy to assemble. Surprisingly it doesn't take up that much room, which is a good thing as my niece is currently residing in her old bedroom at her parents' house. She has the wheel in the bedroom where Bumpy prefers to stay.Bumpy did not need encouragement once the wheel was up and running, she jumped right in and went to town chasing the toy and getting much needed exercise. The extra exercise has slimmed down Bumpy and as a bonus effect she is now more social.Lots of fun, sturdy and quiet, what's not to like. A wonderful gift idea for the cat lover in your life.

We just got the wheel together and letting the cats check it out. The kitten somehow snapped the wand in half. Would love to have a free replacement wand. Maybe you could make it out of something other than plastic. Love the toy other than that.

This is fairly easy to assemble and is really sturdy. This probably took me 2 to 3 hours to assemble. The wood is a laminate composite. I do have two small complaints, one that the smaller Allen wrench included with this is a pain to use on the casters. I had to adapt my screwdriver to an Allen key of the same size. My second complaint is that the horizontal rollers have some threaded inserts that they are supposed to screw into, I had to improvise and use a screw into wood to fasten it without the insert. The carpet is easy to attach to the inner wheel. This comes with a spring toy that screws into the base. As you can see from my included picture, my cat immediately took to it. The rolling is pretty quiet. The wheel is large at about 3' in diameter so be sure you have the space. Since this involves a lot of screws, I'd probably suggest using a screwdriver on a low torque setting. -1 Star for the missing equipment and the difficult tools but I like the overall result.

I actually got this wheel for my dogs. I have a 40 pound dog and this works great for her. My older dog figured it out right away, and had a blast! My smaller dog thought it was fun, but it wasn’t her favorite. It was so easy to set up and looks nice when it’s done. The wood looks pretty and should hold up for awhile too!
