I had some tiny bumps that wouldn’t go away but this made them DISAPPEAR!

First off, I absolutely love how The Ordinary doesn’t jack up the retail price just because they know women will buy whatever products that advertise it will transform their life or appearance drastically, nor do they skimp on product amount/size in any way. I am absolutely sick of paying for expensive brand name products, with tiny little bottles, tubes, or jars that just don’t live up to their hype. Who’s with me on this?!Now, will this product transform your skin overnight? Nope. Absolutely not! But what product DOES do that, even the outrageously priced ones? Will it change over time? That would be a hard question to answer most definitely because I (and I’m sure just like most people) don’t just use this one product on my face on a daily basis. But it absolutely is a great addition to my daily regimen for sure! My skin DOES feel great though, and I have noticed a slight difference/improvement overall since using the product, (about one week) by the way! If you are looking for quicker, more dramatic results this glycolic acid % will not be your answer nor would any other OTC product with glycolic acid -in fact- only a certified dermatologist would be able to give you those results with a glycolic acid PEEL using a higher percentage GA. I suppose this would also be a great maintenance product post-peel though, too, as well as for people such as myself who cringe at the thought of a chemical peel, and walking around in pain with your face looking like raw hamburger for a week! No thanks, not me-maybe in another ten years when I’m covered in (more) wrinkles- but for now I’ll stick to this product!

Fake not original ✖️Don’t buy Very Bad product

At first I was hesitant to use prior to a work day. I was expecting skin to start flaking. Having seen others after a treatment at the dermatology office, I didn't want to go into work looking like I was wearing Halloween makeup!Curiosity overtook vanity and I took the plunge on a night before going into work. I just followed the instructions and saturated a cotton gauze strip and wiped it over my face and neck. No rinsing off. There was a slight warming feeling, but no stinging. I woke up the next morning surprised . . . no flaking or other drama. I went on with the day as usual. That evening as I was preparing for bed I looked in the mirror and could swear there was a difference. I went through the same routine that evening and again woke up to no flaking but noticed there was what seemed a little more color to my skin. Not red, not pink, but just a little color.On the third morning I could see my skin just looked a bit brighter - again with a little color, but nothing other than sort of a fresh look.None of these changes were "wow, what did you do", but are much more gradual and subtle differences that looks natural.After watching some Youtube videos of this particular product, my experience is not unique. There's a lot of praise out there for this and glycolic acid in general.While I didn't do the strongly recommended patch test (I've had face peels without reactions) it is something you should do if this is your first time using an acid product on your skin.

Say what you will about trendy skincare brands and products but glycolic acid has been the most gentle toner I've ever used. This formula by the Ordinary is the best value I can find as well. I sweep it over my freshly washed face about twice a week with a cotton ball. Paired with a simple, health-focused routine, my skin has never looked better. Many reviewers say this works well for acne but I haven't had much luck with that treatment goal.
