Creative Haven African Glamour Coloring Book (Adult Coloring Books: World & Travel)

This is a wonderful coloring book, someone from my coloring group had it. I have never seen anything like it. got one for my sister.

This coloring book is beautiful! Most adult coloring books are a mix of nice pictures, okay pictures, and pictures that I know I will never have any desire to color. I typically end up coloring the few pictures I do like, and leaving the majority of the book blank. Not so with this coloring book. This is the first coloring book I have come across where every single page is beautiful and makes me want to grab my coloring pencils. When I saw the book online, I was worried that I wouldn't like the fact that the bodies were already colored in black. I thought that it would take away from my ability to chose to use different shades of brown for the skin tones. Nope. In person, the black silhouettes make the pictures pop, and only add to the beauty of each page. If I could only have one coloring book, this would be it. I'm so glad I came across this gem of a book!

This coloring book is very nice but I do have one draw back. I was set to relax and enjoy my coloring session and to use my new set of skin tone markers. Unfortunately every image of a person is already shaded out in black. I wanted to do the many shades of our culture and I’m unable to. However, the other images and designs are beautiful so I will keep it but make sure future coloring books will not have this issue. Also pages are thin, if using markers place something between pages to prevent bleeding.

The book has so many different looks and great options to color. Of course it's hit due it having African features in it and so many in-depth photos love it. I will have to see if this vendor has other coloring books besides this one.

Marjorie Sarnat is my very favorite coloring book artist. I have ten of her books and I adore her Cat collections. But this African Glamour is my favorite of all. I colored 21 of the pictures in this book…more than in any other book that I own. And I am sure that I will eventually complete the remainder of these as well. My great wish is that she will present a similar coloring book of Indian Glamour showing the gorgeous clothing worn by the women of India. I would love to be able to complete these as well using all the beautiful colors available.

This was a book I had preordered and after reading the description of the book , I was not sure how I would like silhouetted pictures. I have to say I absolutely love this book. There are 31 pictures in the book. Pictures with beautiful head wraps , beautiful gowns decorated with patterns in the traditional African designs. The background includes animals, plants, and ornaments. The pages are perforated and printed on one side only for easy removal.

Another great coloring book. At first I was undecided because I like to see samples of what I'm buying but I went ahead and bought it, actually two of them, one for my daughter also. Her books are great and I have never been disappointed in any of her art. This book is fun! I colored the jewelry on the silhouette and it pops nicely with glitter gel pens. Its a fun coloring book. We both love it and I can't wait for her others to come out. I will be buying them. Sight unseen because all of her books are just wonderful and fun to color in!! I also love the thickness of the pages! Please keep them coming! There are at least three more and I will be Pre-ordering them soon. Thank you for these wonderful coloring books. To a great artist!
