Great option for cheap
If you don't want to spend big money on a new headunit install, this work will work just fine. Used it on 05 g35 w/bose, and it was easy to install. Great sound. no issues. Some people complain about volume, but the trick is to set the volume high(at least 2/3rd) before you disconnect the stereo and install this. That way it's calibrated. Other wise, if you install this with the initial volume low, it might have a low max volume output.

It works... But
Purchased 9/8/15. Thank God they provide TWO aux cables. The first one has already shorted out on me. Installed this on my 05 Infiniti G35. The instructions provided aren't enough. There are a few videos on the Tube that show exactly how to connect this. If you get it wrong, it simply won't work. You can either use the trial and error approach OR save yourself some time and watch it on YouTube.Overall, it DOES work. It's simple to install. There is a slight feedback noise when it's not connected to an audio source. The cord WILL short out with heavy use. I wouldn't recommend it... However, if your CD player doesn't work and the kit to replace it is $200+, then this will work! :)

Great product, simple design, simple use
For my specific vehicle *(inifinit g35). It's very costly to put an aftermarket radio in. Not only the cost of the head unit but other trim pieces that need to be replaced. Inifiniti must have never wanted anyone to replace the factory unit. At this moment rather than spend $500+ to get a setup I'd like I opted to go this route. Simple add on to the stock radio and it give me an aux input. There are other add on units that will add blue tooth, and/or have ipod connections but I am an android user and just wanted an aux input and I'd be happy. This did just that. I found a write up on how to pull the trim apart, then it was simple plug and play. Works great, it's tucked behind all radio and all of that except for one aux cable I have peeking out so I can plug my phone/tablet it. Sound is excellent, I do need to turn the radio volume up a little more and have my phone volume on full, but sound is great. I just need to keep in mind the volume level incase I switch to radio. I see little to no issues concerns. I hope this hold up and last as long as I need it to.

Works but not well
I bought this for my 06 G35. The install is very long and requires you to remove a significant amount of your center console and dashboard. After 2 hours of watching install videos and trouble shooting I got it to work! But, the CD and XM functions need to be sacrificed which for me isn't a big deal but for others it might be. It also is very quiet about 10 decibels quieter than the FM radio at the same volume setting.I would return it but it's not worth disassembling my car again to get back out. A Terrible AUX is better than no AUX so I guess I'll keep it.

Excellent device, pain to install
I purchased this for my 2008 350Z Roadster, and it performs beautifully. However, installing it was a HUGE pain for me since there doesn't seem to be a single article online that details how to properly remove a center console with the GPS unit installed. If you buy this product and find yourself in a similar situation as I was, save yourself some headache and read this guide for removing your center console [...].Also, keep in mind that if you have a GPS unit, in order to get to the necessary screws you need to use a plastic tool (or a flat-head screw driver) and jam it into the far-right edge of the little ledge directly in front of the GPS screen. That ledge will pry up and disconnect, allowing you access to the two screws that are holding the console in place. If I had known that, I could have installed this Aux kit in 30-40 min instead of 2 hours, and would have a lot fewer scratches on my console...One last thing -- if you're looking at this product, be sure to also check out the GROM-USB2P-NISCDC. It has more options, like USB and Bluetooth support. Although it's more expensive, I wish I had found it before purchasing the PAC [...]

great quality, but volume is extremely lacking
So the vehicle I installed this in was a 2006 Nissan Altima with a factory original Bose sound system. The instalation was fairly simple and surprisingly uncomplicated. I'm someone that doesn't know much about cars and isn't particularly handy, and I installed this within 30 minutes. It's full proof.I used Spotify with HD streaming to test the device, and the sound is wondeful quality. But what REALLY put me off of this device is the volume. In my opinion, the volume is SEVERELY lacking. While using the aux device, I always have it at max volume, which is 31 for my radio, at full volume on my phone, and I still find it too low. For comparison, full volume 31 on aux is equal to about 14 with a CD.

Fast DIY for a guy that knows jack!
As a guy that knows diddly about vehicles it took 45 minutes with watching a Youtube video on installing Aux for my car.Car & Requirement:Nissan Altima 2005 SLBose Sound System w/ SAT ButtonPros:Fast DIYQuality Sounds GreatCons:Volume lacking - Stock Radio's FaultHad to press 'CAT/RPT' a button not listed on instructions after having pressed 'SAT'.Last Comments: If you're looking to keep your Stock Dashboard/Radio for appearance with Aux capabilities, this is a great product. I will admit volume is a bit lackluster when used with my Android & Spotify, however, I do not believe it warrants a loss of a star due to limitations of the stock radio. You might as well replace the whole stock radio for $200+ dollars if '31' AUX Vol equals '20' CD Vol bothers you.

Worked great then stopped after just 1.5 months - waste of $75. I'm pissed
Item stopped working after less than 2 months. Talked to manufacturer and they couldn't help and wouldn't thake it back. They said to talk to the seller (Amazon) and they won't take it back after 1 month. Amazon, please help here.

Was easy to install as I found an article on how to install it with pictures online, Only took 30 minutes. The aux cord is super long and reaches all the way to the backseat. Its also nice that it comes with 2 just in case one craps out. The unit itself is very lightweight so it is easy to deal with. For a 2006 Altima I just set the unit in the storage compartment under the ac controls as its easily accessible and right under the stereo when installing.

Didn't work on Murano
Didn't work on my 04 Murano. When I press the SAT button it does switch from radio or CD which it doesn't do without the iSimple unit connected, but the screen just goes blank, no audio and none of the playback control buttons do anything. It does still switch to it as a source and I'm still able to scroll through bass/treble/etc adjustments so the radio is seeing the module but it seems like it's just not interfacing properly.

Works great and not that hard to install
Works great and not that hard to install. Only down side is you only get about 70% of the volume transferred from your input device to the speakers.
