I thought it broke because because the remote would not let me disconnect it. I had to open the hood and manually push the disconnect button. Then I read the instructions. The remote will not let you disconect it if it is above a 13.3v just incase you are driving down the road and someone presed the remote off button. It workes gerat for my pickup truck. But I have to reset my radio and clock each time I use it. But if you only use it for voltage drop so your battery dosn't go dead, In the airport parking lot or wherever you left your car It will work for you.

Installed on my hellcat, doesnt fit since the battery is in the trunk, cut out a piece from the trunk cover to fit it and everything was connected as the instructions said.

This one had the extra Negative Battery Cable--that was essential to fit--the others had you placing the box on top of the battery. In my car, the hood would not have shut. That feature alone, plus the design intent, and the actual performance are smart and have been great--hope it holds up. Nothing to say/show it wouldn't...Just don't have a lot of time on it.

I don’t drive very often, about 3 times per month, so my vehicle sits for long periods of time. The alarm system slowly drains my battery. I need a solution other than disconnecting the battery or disconnecting the alarm. This switch works exactly as advertised and was very easy to install. Plus the remote control is great because I don’t have to lift the hood every time I need to turn on/off the battery.

Upon installation I could not install properly because the terminal to connect the neg cable was too small for my connecting cable attachment. I tried adapters and they were not the answer. I was never able to get good contact for it to work properly.

Very easy to install, great purpose.
