As the title says it a tool dictionary and covers a lotOf trades and tools. I personally wish is gave a little more information on the manufactures names and dates. But if you have some old tool you will probably find it’s use and name here.

I have actually purchased two copies as I gave away my first copy to a fellow woodworker and promptly repurchased a new copy for myself. If you can't find a tool in here, it must be something ultra rare as this is a very complete book. I will always keep a copy of it in my library and recommend it to the tool collector and hand tool enthusiast alike.

My 23 year old is super into antique tools, blacksmithing, woodworking, etc...He LOVED this book at Christmas. Every week he does a "Cool Tool Tuesday" post on his FB/Insta account, and he says this book will be super helpful to him!

Big, beautiful book. Could easily be at home in the shop so when your friends pop by and bother you while you're trying to get something done you just hand them a little one hitter and this big book and a stool and that'll keep em busy so you can get busy!Or on your wife's/husbands coffee table so people can ooh abc ah over tools of yesteryear while sipping coffees and discussing the treasonous coup going on right now people!!

Very impressive book on antique tools.Every type of tool i've ever seen is in this book, with plenty of illustrations.It contains the correct name, description and use for each tool.For a general knowledge af antique tools in only one bookthis is the one reference book to get. Very satisfied with mypurchase.
