Aluminum much lighter than steel for loading in car
Easy to assemble, love theLightness for folding and putting in car, mystery black strap is for ease in folding. For me it is just what I was looking for and priced lower than others. Having it being aluminum made me choose as it was 11 lbs vs steel 20 lbs.

Perfect for my Mom...She Loves It!
When my mother came to live with me several months ago, the first thing I knew I needed to do was get her some kind of walking support. She had fairly frequent falls and was dealing with leg wasting after a long illness. She was very reluctant and had absolutely refused any kind of "walker" because she said it wouldn't help since she fell straight down. She's very stubborn. So, I knew I had to appeal to her in other ways to make it acceptable. I needed something that was sort of sporty looking and not like a medical device. It needed to fill obvious and less obvious needs in such a way that she wouldn't be able to resist the convenience. As a result I spent a long amount of time researching walkers. There just aren't any sexy walkers. As luck would have it, while I was doing searches I got routed to Amazon and then that "What Others Looked At" display halfway down the page showed Rollators. I clicked through them, read reviews and realized I had accidentally found exactly what I was looking for. I purchased the Burgundy one because it has a pretty nifty color. It came within a couple of days and it took all of 5 minutes to put together and adjust for my Mom's basic height. When I told her it had arrived, she was giving me that disapproving and stubborn face that says, "I ain't using an old lady walker!". After I got it together and rolled it into the living room she couldn't help but look interested. I showed her the brakes, the seat and the ability to stow things inside the seat and how light it was and she no longer looked skeptical. She looked pretty impressed. I caught her sneaking glances at it the rest of the night. The true test came when she went to her water exercise class and the library the next day. She got across the parking lot with a lot less fear and was able to use it all the way up to the pool steps and then keep her towel dry by leaving it on the seat. She said it was a lifesaver because she is so tired after her class and she felt secure walking back to the changing rooms. At the library, she liked it a lot because she could take the time to browse by simply sitting down in the seat and giving herself a little push with her feet down the aisle. It is so light that she is capable of getting it in and out of her SUV with no problem at all. It's very sturdy and after more than 4 months of constant use and banging around, it still looks brand new. She really has completely changed her mind and loves her little racy looking rollator. (Don't call it a walker!) And it has certainly opened up her world considerably as she can go places without fear.Highly recommended, especially for those who are being stubborn about using walking support because it is for "old people". This is a cute and sturdy item that will fit the bill for most folks who need support.

Lightweight ... maybe too lightweight!
I was looking for a lightweight and portable rollator and decided to give this model a try. It arrived promptly, was well packaged and easy to put together. The wheels rolled smoothly, the seat was stable but smaller, and the brakes did lock. The handgrips have these little wings on them, and I thought that would be the brake lock,...but no. The brake lock is actually below the handgrips and if you suddenly need to lock them, it took a moment to figure out how to do that especially because I did not lock them often. For me, not an intuitive way to do this feature. Although I was looking for lightweight and portable, for my body frame, this was too lightweight! At 5"11" it also was really too short and I could bend that frame pretty easily when I used it. It made me think that I could potentially break it. I only had to use for a few months though. I did like that I could use this rollator on the lawn pretty well. If you are a taller and/or a bigger person I would recommend finding something a bit more substantial.

WONDERFUL NEW WHEELS!
Great product! I ordered it because the one I had was steel, and I could not lift it into the back of my car. I found this one here on Amazon, and it weighs 11 pounds! I took a chance because I had not touched it or tested it. If anyone tries to take it back, we would have a disagreement!! It does not have all the bells and whistles found on many rolators, but it has what I need. Brakes are great. Seat with storage is great. Love it!

Replaced a Steel Rollator
Had a very nice steel (HEAVY) rollator and passed it on to someone in need. Was shopping for one for a petite elderly aunt (92) and came across this LIGHT WEIGHT rollator and decided to give it a shot. Arrived yesterday and was just as advertised - light weight. Easy to assemble and attractive to look at. Since we were not particular about the color (a smokey blue) it was under $70. Supports weight up to 250 lbs and has a nice little carry pouch under the seat. Couldn't be more please with this purchase!Update 10/29/24: Just bought a 2nd rollator for a friend with Parkinson's Disease who is having some balance issues. She LOVES it, LOVES it, LOVES it because it is so light and has a small footprint for "tooling" around her house. She also loves the under seat storage. I made her a tote bag to tie onto the front too.

I love it
It is perfect. The right height, easy to fold and a lot lighter than my old one.
