Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Firm Spray had been my choice for many years. Of all the sprays I have used, I keep coming back to this one. If the ingredients don't change, I won't either.I have fine, thin and limp hair and to have it hold, I am careful with the amount of conditioner used, then apply a gel, then paste and then this spray. It works well if I continue with this routine but have to keep reminding myself to stay light on the conditioner.The downside is it's a bit messy, leaving residue on countertops, and floors. Also, it contains hydrolyzed Protein which can be an issue for those sensitive to gluten, like myself. Another concern is that the nozzle begins to clog after the canister is about half empty. My solution to this is putting a small amount of water in the cap, tipping the canister upside down in the cap and leaving it for the next use. Works every time.The upside is this spray has a light scent, holds well considering the changes in the weather and the use of other products. I also like the large canister, which is 95 ounces, which lasts about 4 months,The price is right for the value.

I have tried so many hair sprays out there both expensive and less expensive. I was beyond frustrated until I found this spray. My hair is fine to medium hair. This spray gave me so much body and felt so good on my hair. I didn’t need to use much and the hold was wonderful. Lasted all day in humid Florida weather. Even after sleeping I didn’t have bed head but nice fluffy hair still with a lot of body and nice volume. Seriously I have used three hair sprays at once to get hold. My routine is simplified now with volumizing shampoo and conditioner, some mousse and two quick head sprays of this hair spray. The scent is nice and doesn’t linger, something I appreciate having asthma. Thank you Paul Mitchell and Amazon for selling this hair spray! Please never stop! I don’t ever want to go through what I have been through finding the perfect hair spray!

I learned that I really don't prefer a 0% alcohol hair spray. I realize that it is kinder to the ends but it is quite wet and remains wet. To compensate it held a blow dryer on low to speed drying. That works fairly well but it isn't great for really straight hair.Without air and drying chemicals it is more economical since the sprayisall product.

This hairspray diffidently holds your hair in place. No scent and great product

This hairspray was exactly what I was looking for! Good firm hold that lasts all day, and you don't need to use a lot of it. Just a few sprays here and there would do the job. Note, the finishing spray is a bit stiffer than other sprays from Paul Mitchell, but softens over the course of the day. Slight shine to my hair using it, but doesn't look crunchy at all.
