So, I'm a stomach sleeper primarily, and no pillow is really comfortable to use. I end up getting a soft one that I can twist and pack into a hard ball so I can lay on it without it blocking my mouth and nose. It's also impossible to stop it from digging into one of my eye sockets. So I twist and turn.This pillow actually solves the problem. The foam is soft, but firm enough to resist squishing in when I lay on it. That means I can breathe easy with no weird pressure points. Actually had a good night's sleep for once! I was a little worried about the mesh pattern on the top, and whether I should use a pillow case, but it's not needed. It was comfy without it.To get the best possible use, I tried it in a number of positions; rotating it 180, using the arm rests (but those felt a bit awkward to me - I have wide shoulders and I suspect that was the issue), side sleeping and so on. In the end, the most comfortable for me was to put a fairly flat pillow under it, put one arm under that, and suddenly I was in that perfect state of comfort you normally only get when you suddenly have to go at 4 am and you don't want to get up. Nice and cool, perfect support; I suspect your mileage may vary, but it DID take a while to get used to each new position, so give it some time.It also proved ideal for reading in bed. My normal pillows always end up scrunched up and my chin ends up resting uncomfortably on my chest. The shape of this pillow means it locks into place under my neck just right, so I don't feel scrunched up. I may actually go back to bed time reading again!Last, while dubious as an endorsement, one of my cats apparently loves it. I put it on the bed, and Scrambles the Death Dealer jumps up and takes my spot. I move him to take a picture, and he trots right back. I go to sleep, he jumps up and lays on the side. So ... good for some cats? Also, doesn't appear to be a cat fur magnet, so that's another plus!If you're a stomach sleeper and you've never found a perfect pillow, you've got to give this one a chance. Of course, I think it'll work for side and back sleepers great as well!
