my state park has a beachside drive onto for fishing, but I'm not allowed to use any sort of tense, but canopies like this one are absolutely allowed and help me beat the sun and heat as a very fair skinned individual!Easy enough to open and put away with one person, i'll beat it up a bit of a pain on our real windy day at the beach by myself, this canopy is simple to use and maneuver. I had another one before that two to three people are what you need to get the job done but no more.

seems to work fine but it says sand bags are included and i didn’t get them. make sure you plan to get those separately

Like the other reviewer, we decided to do a trial run, but we did it outside the house on a front deck. We followed the instructions, partially expanded the frame and gingerly raised the legs so one of us could get under the frame edge to push up the central hub (red) part until the center pole attached to the top of the frame audibly clicked into place in the central hub. Very clever design, pushing up on the central hub further expands the frame until it is a rigid structure completely under the edge of the canopy. We then lifted the legs further and the thing achieved the desired height. Once fully erected it looked like a very professional job despite our lack of experience. We did not use stakes or ropes but noted how to do that for when we do a real deployment. The instructions were clear and the drawings were realistic and very helpful. I reviewed an automotive electrical product earlier today and the instructions were printed on a small 4" x 6" piece of paper. The annotated photographs of the installation were so small that you could not actually see the connection points. Fortunately the vendor wrote the acronym name of the fuses to connect to and I was able to get an online photo of the fuse block. Not the case here, the instructions were spot on clear and the product is truly amazing. I was able to expand it myself and folding it back down was even easier by just following the guidance in the instructions. The only problem we had was trying to get the canopy folded up to fit into the well-designed, rolling, heavy canvas case. We tried, I got frustrated and my wife gave it a go, but the canopy was just not going to fit into the plastic bag it came out of. We figure life is too short, so we decided to put the frame, stakes and rope into the case and carry the canopy in a separate beach bag! The case has an end strap, opens at the other end with two wheels and two legs (that allows it to stand on end in a stable fashion). There are also two cross straps, so schlepping it is easy. It is pretty obvious careful thought went into the design of the frame, canopy tent and even the useful storage bag, indicative of a company that takes pride in offering a solid product. We are glad we did the trial run. That one exercise made us comfortable enough with the process that either one of us could set it up and break it down alone.

This thing is awesome, I can put it up in less than 2 minutes, just get underneath and pop it up, seriously easy.I used it as shade when I'm doing little projects in my house and hasn't disappointed me yet.It comes with sand bags for weight so it doesn't fly away, just fill them up at the beach, attach them to the legs and done.

We have used this multiple times at the beach and also camping and are very pleased. Unlike others at this value point, this one includes a nice carry case with wheels which makes transport a breeze. It is a little heavy but that is because they used decently thick metal, unlike others that use cheap light aluminum that bends super easy. The canopy material is also of a decent quality and the standard sizing makes it easily replaceable if need be. Compared to other models from big-box stores that close even more, this is a very good value and a well-made product.

I appreciate the included stakes, ropes and sand bags for added stability on windy days. The wheeled carry bag is convenient for transport. While not the most heavy-duty option out there, it's perfect for occasional use at the beach, park or backyard parties. Overall, a solid choice for hassle-free portable shade.

I rate this pop-up canopy tent as 4 stars because I’m really impressed by how easy it is to set up/adjust, and it’s pretty sturdy and secure. My fave features are the adjustable height and the wheeled carrying bag because it allows me to use and take it pretty much anywhere.
