Brilliant scanner
Only one minor thing to dislike about this scanner and that is you cannot close the slot into which you feed the paper (this was possible on earlier versions). I am worried that dust will get in and cause problems later. On the plus side: it scans really well, it is easy to use, it is quiet, it can cope with lots of different sorts and sizes of paper, it does not take up too much room on my desk, Capture Perfect is a simple scanning programme to use. Overall I am delighted with it.

Quality product that will stand up to demanding application
I get a surprising amount of use out of it, even though I haven’t got around to digitising several boxes of documents which I bought it for. Will clearly do the job - it’s fast and easily configurable. Good easy to use software.

This Canon DR-C230 scanner is incompatible with Apple/Mac.
Cannon provide no printer software to enable the device to work on the latest Apple computers. Its printer software is 4 yours out of date. This is not the first time I have had problems with outdated Canon printer drivers. I will not be purchasing Canon printers/scanners again
