I own, have tested and bought almost every brand of solar panels and recently purchased in Feb 2025 the Zoup 450w folding solar panels. They are very easy to set up and well packaged in carrying case. Produce most efficient solar with minimal drop in voltage. They have 1 issue for improvement I shared with them I will address here: The stable panel has very good leg support, however the legs are metal and they hinge into a plastic retaining piece that is riveted into the frame. Mine came with one side of the metal leg stand broken where the bolt attaches to the plastic insert. The plastic on that insert hinge eyelet broke. The first time I used it, I was careful not to break the other hinge portion but it ended up breaking also. Otherwise it is extremely well built and efficient! I did reach out to Zoup immediately and there CUSTOMER SERVICE was an absolute 10 !! They promptly sent me an entire leg assembly, handful of black rivets and 4 additional plastic inserts should any of the others fail. I’d recommend to Zoup to replace that plastic portion with all aluminum framework like the rest of its build. Additionally perhaps move away from riveting to an aluminum or zinc black headed screw and add a drop of “breakable” thread lock so IF the hinge portion or leg need replacement it’s a much easier task to remove and repair but they have won me as a customer for life. No solar outfit I have ever worked with has provided me this level of Customer support and care! Excellent!!

This is an update to my previous review… Wow… things have changed! I was very disappointed in the product because the first time I opened it a leg bracket was broken. I expected a hassle in returning it as I had already thrown away the packaging. I promptly received a message directly from ZoupW for returning the panel and they would credit my card. I messaged them back saying I was hoping for a new panel and with that units packaging I could send the damaged unit back. This is the message I received…..To better assist you and help you, we kindly suggest the following solution: Please close the current return request. We will then send you a replacement product, and you do not need to return the faulty solar panels to our warehouse. You can keep the faulty panels. Additionally, we can send you some spare parts and an installation video to help you repair the faulty solar panels. This way, you will have two functional 450W solar panels. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please let us know. Best regards,Now this is service far beyond my expectations and the sign of a good company. I did some research wanting to find out where the company was based and where the panels were produced. I thought it would be a Chinese company but to my surprise this is a company based in California and they have their own manufacturing facilities.This is great… a good product at a reasonable price and we can support an American manufacturer.

After doing some research I decided on this solar panel. I like solid sturdy frame, weight (about 26#) and the included cables and stakes to secure into the ground. So far I've used them once, charging my Anker f2000 and expansion battery. From around 11am to 6pm I was able to consistently achieve about 430w on average, peaking at 485w around 1230pm. Within that time frame I fully charged the main unit (2048w) and the expansion battery to about 70% before packing up (only pulling in less that 70w at 6pm. Overall no complaints, and I'm probably going to purchase a 2nd one to reach the max allowable wattage of 1000w for power station. Can't beat the price at about 1$ per watt and with the included cables and stakes and considering it features the newer N type cells and 16 bb which work better in less than optimal situations ie partly cloudy skies. Also was considering the Renogy 400w solar suitcase but it didn't come with any cables. I was actually able to grab it during a special in early April for around $430.

Well packed and delivered with care all looks great but didn't have a chance to try it out yet, I think it should be okay. John H

Longer review to come in the future because this item deserves it, but I wanted to quickly say something about it. I have had it for a month, and it has been excellent. The company, ZoupW, has been excellent as well, quick to respond to inquiries via email within 1-2 business days. 5 star experience, would buy again, and using daily.I am not an "Amazon Vine" reviewer, and purchased this with my own money. Like I said, more to come when I have time to give a proper review with images.

This panel goes above and beyond. it puts out OVER 450watts. Also performs fantastic when the sun is shaded by clouds. I didn't even have this panel at a 100% correct angle and it still out performed any panels I own or have even seen before. I will be purchasing a second one. You wont regret it. 1000% satisfied customer. OH! also, the setup and take down is hands down easier than my other folding panels. I cant say enough good things. Thank you for making such a great panel!

The Zoupw 450W portable solar panel is exactly as described solid, reliable, and performs better than expected. The wait was well worth it! Setup was simple and everything works great. Seller was excellent, professional and reliable. Definitely recommend!
