The best controller for casual gamers
I'm a casual gamer. I don't play online third person shooters or anything super intense, but I'm big on finding products that offer good quality for the price. If you're a casual gamer like me, I can't imagine why you'd buy any controller but this one. It's solid and well-made, has good battery life, and offers some premium features like rumble vibration and the ability to turn on the Switch. The textured grip feels nice, and it's comfortably sized for both me (an adult with average hands) and my 5-year-old son. The buttons and triggers feel really great to press, and in general I just enjoy using it.Sure, there are few bells and whistles that some gamers will want (programmable buttons, etc). and I REALLY wish they'd release the Bluetooth/Switch version of this with Hall effect joysticks like they have with the 2.4G version. But this is a very solid basic controller that does everything I need it to and does it really well, all for a somewhat unbelievable price.I've bought two of these, and if I need a third I'll buy another (or if they release it with Hall effect joysticks).

Great connectivity + awesome design!
The 8BitDo 2C blew me away for its size and price. Connectivity is super smooth—it paired instantly with my PC, Switch, and even worked with my Android phone over USB-C. I really appreciate that it has a USB-C port rather than micro-USB, which feels more modern and convenient. The design is slick, and the holographic effect on the joysticks is just awesome. It’s subtle but really adds a premium feel. For a compact controller, it’s surprisingly comfortable, and everything feels tight and responsive.Definitely a win for anyone looking for a versatile, stylish, and portable controller.

DEFINITELY WORTH BUYING!!!!!!
8BITDO is BY FAR THE BEST 3RD PARTY CONTROLLER OUT THERE! At least from a casual gamer point of view. I'D EVEN SAY I LIKE THEIR CONTEOLLERS BETTER THAN MOST ORIGINALS! This controller feels FANTASTIC! The response is SUPERB! I haven't dealt with ANY LAG! The buttons feel GREAT & the joysticks are as SMOOTH as butter! The battery life is AMAZING as well! It connected with our Nintendo Switch EASILY & WITHOUT ISSUE! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME LOOKING AROUND. 8BITDO IS THE WAY TO GO!!

Good alternative to the Pro Controller
Solid controller with a good feel and grip. Works quite well in place of the Pro Controller, or along side a pro controller. It is well built like the Nintendo offering, and pairs quite easily. Well worth the money. 8BitDo does a masterful job with most of their products. Nobody's perfect, but 8BitDo is quite close.

Works with Switch 2
Works well with Switch 2 after upgrading the firmware. Better feel and way better price than the official Nintendo controllers.

amazing for the value!
great controller! i wanted a pro switch controller for the longest, but i couldn't justify the price - so glad i went with this one! joysticks are smooth, my only complaint is the YXAB buttons are a little “hard” and the typeface is ugly lol. comfy to hold for long term use and holds the charge for several hours, would def purchase again if i ever need to!

Was good while it lasted
Honestly, the controller is nice, feels good, durable, but it flat-out died in a little over a month with minimal use. We primarily use our switch as a handheld system and have used this controller for less than 20 hours in total. It charged up fine, would work flawlessly without any issues with pairing, rumble features, etc; but 2 days ago I went to go play when I a day off from work and it would not light up at all. I tested several USB cables, wired it direct to the switches dock, tried to wire to the my 3 PCs to see if it would detect it, etc. It is bricked. I contacted 8bit support but they told me to try to hold the home button down for 8 seconds and use the firmware tool, which I already tried to do. Either way, it's kind of futile to even try those things when the device itself doesn't even power on. I doubt they will send a replacement or offer any refund, so I'm out a controller. Get a legit Nintendo one and call it a day, this is garbage.
